Price and product were great, and Gene (retiring soon) was easy to work with. The installer they sent was not what we expected, however. He asked for an indoor space near the install area (an upstairs bathroom) to do the cutting for the subfloor, instead of out in the driveway, and took two days to install when we had been quoted one day. He also returned the second day, after discussing the reinstallation of our quarter round with us, and acted like we had declined to hire him to install that. What we had discussed was that we would purchase new quarter round to install, since the old material was brittle and damaged. If he uninstalled it, he should reinstall it. He did not bring a miter saw with him on the second day, and was unprepared to cut the quarter round. We did not want to have him come back and do it a third day, so we said we would finish that ourselves. We were also under the impression that the old flooring would be removed, which it was not. Overall it feels like a big disconnect and while Carpets & Vinyl of Waukesha was great, the installer left a lot to be desired.
