BOB'S GLASS SERVICE OF WAUKESHA INC

I called and spoke with a young lady on May 9, who took the information on the work I wanted to get an estimate on. I gave my phone and contact information-she said she would pass the information on and someone would call me. I explained that someone would have to come to the house to measure it to ensure it was done accurately as the item was too big to carry in to the shop. After waiting a week I called again after getting no response-no messages on my voice maid and no indication that a call from this business had been made and no message left (CID). On May 16 I spoke with the same young lady who located my original request-I gave her my cell as well as the house line. She assured me that someone would call me back that day to set an appointment. NO ONE ever called-and now it is 3 weeks since the second call. Through Angie's List I contacted another local business on May 23 (who I was not aware of) and he was out the next day!!! The work was done within a week and the serviceman was here exactly when he said he would be both for the measurement and estimate and delivery. Bob's clearly needs more competition as they do not seem motivated to provide good service or at least have the courtesy to return a call-even when contacted twice- Does not give one much confidence that they would have a job done when estimated either.

Did a nice job. Were here when they said they would be. Very Satisfied.

Service guy took a Sawzall to my Pella window frame. Replaced the glass but destroyed my window frame and then took off and left the window partially open. Now the only way to open and close the window is with a 2x4 and a hammer. After threatening to call a lawyer, fellow came back out and was going to open my window with a crow bar! Asked him to get off my property. Window is not repairable; one of two in the set. My cost to replace is $2000.

It went very well.  They did exactly what they said they were going to do when they said they would do it.
The installation people from Bob's Glass were very helpful not only installing the product but also advising us on what exactly our alternatives were for future work..  I really appreciated their help.

After the initial call to Bob's, Joel came out to inspect the windows and what needed to be done to replace the cracked glass in one window and all glass in four casement and two fixed windows which had fogged over due to the seal being compromised.  Shortly after we received the quote by mail, a call was made to place the order.  The first voice I heard was Sue and she is wonderful!  Knowledgeable, efficient, and friendly she took the order and filled my request for a detailed work order which arrived in the mail a few days later.  The window repairmen arrived on time and went to work quickly.  They also discovered two of the casement arms that open the windows were badly rusted and should be replaced.  They gave us another quote and we ordered.  Again, when I called Sue for some details she was so nice and pleasant and sent the information I needed promptly.  As soon as the parts were received by Bob's they called for an appointment and installed the new parts.  I will definitely use them in the future and have already recommended them to a neighbor who needs glass repair.

When we needed a prompt quote for the replacement of some failing window panes to sell our home, Bob's Glass made an extra effort to get out to our home and get us the quote the same day.  We had them order and install the replacement panes and they did an excellent job; they were quick and neat.  We appreciate their going the extra mile for us even though they already had a full schedule for the day.

Bob's Glass was recommended to us by a window and door company to only replace glass instead of an entire patio door. They came out, told us what it would cost, and approximately ho long it would take them to obtain the custom pane with the proper grid for our condo. On the promised installation date, they were actually 15 minutes early and completed the job in less than 30 minutes. The panel exactly matches the panel in the sliding door of the set. Greta company!

Overall, they were a good company. Their pricing was fair and they are just good people. However, they kind of lack a little bit of responsiveness.

Service performed was more than expected.  Instead of just replacing the window pane with typical glass, he used shatter resistant glass for higher security.  Many Thanks.

They were great. Their price was very reasonable.

A neighbor upstairs had them do similar work.  We both had LOUSY experiences with shody work.1.  After they left I found large pieces of broken glass [4"x4"] pieces on the lawn.  They must have known they dropped them removing the broken pane and never bothered to clean them up.2.  They had improperly installed the window and it was not in the frame properly.  Within 3 months it was broken by the other window sliding over it.  

We called to get some satisfaction.  No calls ever returned.

Very good experience. Polite. Cleaned the glass after delivery. Price was not cheap, but, seemed fair. Will use them again.

They refused to do the work. They determined that the job wasn't worth their travel time. Again, just be aware that they don't wish to travel outside Waukesha for jobs under $250.

They came out and measured while I was out so it didn't take up my time waiting in for them. The engineer was polite and worked quickly. The work was done in no time.

THE ESTIMATE WAS DONE QUICKLY. HOWEVER, THEY DID NOT CALL WHEN THE WINDOWS I ORDERED WERE IN. AFTER I CALLED THEM TO FOLLOW UP, I WAS TOLD THAT THEY COULDN'T SCHEDULE MY INSTALLATION UNTIL A WEEK AND A HALF LATER. I WAS TRYING TO GET MY HOUSE READY TO LIST FOR SALE, BECAUSE I WAS BEING RELOCATED TO A DIFFERENT STATE. I HAD TOLD THEM THIS WHEN I ORDERED THE WINDOWS AND AGAIN WHEN I TRIED TO SCHEDULE INSTALLATION. THIS DIDN'T MAKE A DIFFERENCE TO THEM.

OWNER, JIM, WAS VERY COURTEOUS AND ACCOMMODATING ON THE PHONE. HE CAME THE NEXT DAY AND TOOK PICTURES AND PROVIDED AN ESTIMATE AS WELL AS SETTING A DATE FOR THE SERVICE TO BE COMPLETED. THE JOB WAS COMPLETED IN LESS THAN ONE WEEK WITH EXCELLENT RESULTS.

WORKMEN WERE ON TIME, POLITE, AND DID VERY GOOD, CLEAN WORK. ONLY ONE SUGGESTION I WOULD HAVE FOR THIS COMPANY. I GOT THE ESTIMATE AND AUTHORIZED THEM TO GO AHEAD WITH THE WORK. THEY SAID SOMEONE WOULD CALL ME BACK TO SCHEDULE THE WORK. I WAITED FOR SEVERAL DAYS, BUT THEY DID NOT CALL. SO I HAD TO CALL THEM AGAIN TO GET OUR JOB SCHEDULED.

WORKERS WERE COURTEOUS AND DID THE WORK IN A PROFESSIONAL MANNER. FELT THEY DID QUALITY WORK AT A FAIR PRICE. I WOULD DEFINITELY HIRE THEM AGAIN, AND IN FACT WILL TO FINISH THE REST OF THE HOUSE.

ALL WORK WAS KNOWLEDGEABLY DONE, PROFESSIONAL & SERVICE ORIENTED. THEY ALSO HAVE ALL THE EQUIPMENT TO DO THE JOB RIGHT. I HAVE HAD THE OWNER GO OUT OF HIS WAY TO SEE THAT I GOT NEEDED SERVICE. WOULD RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE, FOR ANY TYPE OF GLASS, MIRROR, OR AUTO GLASS EXPERTISE.

VERY COURTEOUS, ATTENTIVE & COOPERATIVE. WILL DEFINITELY USE HIM AGAIN.
