Bayview Shade and Blind

Our experience with Bay View Shade and Blind was awesome from start to finish. Our sales person Janelle was so helpful and paid attention to every detail and question we had. She even made sure a large shade was re-designed after installation to meet our expectation. They go the full nine yards!

The team was great to work with from the sales people to scheduler to installers. Everyone was patient and worked with me to get the job done quickly and neatly.

Design consultant came and measured our windows. I knew I wanted solar shades and she showed me the color options. Ordered the blinds on Thursday; installed on the following Monday. Installers were very personable and professional. Love the blinds. Had 2 other estimates and Bay View Blinds were very comparable. Would definitely recommend

Very satisfied with service and product

I did a lot of research and called multiple companies both big and small to get quotes for my home. We needed blinds for 20 windows of all different shapes and sizes. They gave us the best price and we didn't even have to compromise on quality. Both the in home consultation and installation went so well! Matt helped me to decide what blinds would be best for each window and was thorough in his explanations and recommendations. The installation went so fast and Steve and Tim were so cheerful and pleasant to work with. They took the time to make sure I knew how to best take care of the blinds to make sure they last a long time. I would highly recommend!!

Consultation and installation went exceedingly well. They were easy to deal with and explained all our options. The installers explained what they were doing, showed us how to operate the shades and were very personable. The installation was done very well.

Bay View was responsive and professional. They presented their product thoughtfully and helped with product selection. Installation was good and swift.

I was just past the warranty. They took the shade into the shop and after speaking with the manufacturer, let me know they would be able to replace the shade and only charged me for the service call. They were very fair, honest and pleasant to deal with.

One of the cords/strings broke recently after only 6 months use.  WhenI took it back I was told there is no warranty an restrung shades and it would be $ 35-30. I explained that I was very disappointed that my original shades lasted 12 years and now after 6 months on of them breaks! I still needed a shade and agreed to $30. When I came to pick it up they told me it would be free of charge and gave me a 10% off coupon on a future purchase.
The sales person explained to me how after a shade is restrung a cord will last anywhere from 1 -5 years depending on use.

Everyone from Bay View Shade and Blind was very helpful and courteous. I visited the showroom to see and test blinds. A representative came to my house with color samples and to measure. The installers did a beautiful job. I am very pleased.

From the showroom visit to the custom measurement and installation, everything was great. Matt came to our home with samples and ideas and was very patient with us as we chose fabric, trim, pull chains and top cassette. He had good suggestions and helped us decide on every detail. The installation took place within the timeframe promised, and our room looks great. The shades work perfectly and, even though they were quite expensive, we feel they were worth it. We would highly recommend Bay View Shade and Blind - they did a fabulous job for us, and we will enjoy our beautiful shades for many years to come.

We were pleasantly surprised to receive a phone call 3 weeks later that our blinds were in! Tim and Brian came out to do the installation. They both are wonderful to work with! After they left I realized that the blinds had been measured to be installed inside the window frame instead of outside. We have casement windows and the blinds were hitting the window locks. I called and spoke with Lisa about the problem and she was very accommodating. They added one inch to the sides of the original measurement and reordered the blinds at no additional cost to us. The blinds were in two weeks later and we couldn't be happier! This is the second time we have purchased blinds from Bay View and they will continue to have our business! Thank you!!

The sales staff and installers were very professional, friendly and efficient . Blinds and valence look like quality products that should last. Sales staff provided many examples and pictures of various products and options to aid decision making. Installers demonstrated the use of the blinds.

Matt from Bay View came to our home with lots of samples and knowledge to share. He was easy to work with and offered great advice. Normally the lead time is 3 weeks from ordering to installation. However, with Thanksgiving just a little under 3 weeks from when we ordered we didn't think we would enjoy the new shades before our big Thanksgiving gathering. However, what a surprise to hear from Bay View that the shades were done and could be installed the week before Thanksgiving. WOW! We have used Bay View numerous times in the past and will definitely continue to call on them for our window needs. Thank you Bay View

Early in July, I commented to my neighbor that my house got so hot when the sun was from the west. She asked, and quot;Do you pull your shades?and quot; Duh! I had no shades. I commented that we have neighbors for a reason, then went directly to Angie's list to see where I could get window shades. I needed a professional because I have a bow window in the kitchen that looked difficult. It has crank-out windows, so I wanted shades that allowed air to come through while blocking the sun. Bay View Shades has a showroom not far from my house, so I drove there immediately. The young lady there was helpful, showing me the different styles and colors. She sent me home with some samples and an appointment for Jim to come and measure my windows. When Jim came to measure, he was helpful with his suggestions for the bow window. He measured all the windows and immediately gave me a price. It was a little higher than I had expected, but I really liked the shades. I gave him the go-ahead. We were leaving for a week's vacation the following Saturday, so we scheduled installation for July 31, a few days after we returned. He showed up with the shades as promised, on the 31st. They look good and perform wonderfully.When Jim installed the dining room shades, he drew my attention to one that he deemed to be too short. When it was pulled down, the bare roller showed, and apparently that is unacceptable. (I agree. When the side-by-side shades were pulled down, it was evident that one roller was showing.) He left the shade for my use while having a replacement one made. He was back with the replaceement on August 2, just 2 days later. All the shades look great, and my house is not quite so hot in the afternoon.

I had a handyman coming in just a few days for several major jobs and had planned to purchase three ready-made roller window shades. When I didn't find anything to my liking I went to Bay View Shade and Blind. I asked if it was possible to get the shades by the day that the handyman was scheduled. They accommodated my request and the shades were ready to be picked up the day of my services. My experience (a first) was very positive and when I am ready to do further decorating I will certainly go to them again.
