Affordable Tile Plus LLC

I hired Tony as Angies List had him close and with an A rating.  His price was low and stated he had much experience setting stone. He actually came from Greenfield and apparently had no experience setting stone. I purchased tile which consisted of two distinctly different vein lots which after laid looked terrible.  I had to pay contractor $600 to remove and replace horrible looking tile.  Laid tile I rejected and had to pay him to remove and replace.  Joints were uneven, heights were uneven, slivers appeared along many walls which wouldn't have if he followed my instructions.  He blamed room squareness rather than on his error in layout.  Unreliable in showing up always accompanied by an excuse.  Needed to be paid almost every day.  Overcharged for first short day of work.  I settled on a slightly reduced contract amount for him to leave before grouting which I had to complete.

The prep work was extensive and was done properly no cutting corners. Tile design agreed on and followed. He met deadlines.

I brought home samples of some tile. Anthony made suggestions on how it should be installed. I went with his suggestions. Installation went very well with minimal disruption in hosehold. He arrived promply on time and finished on schedule.  I am pleased how it looks.
