A-1 RADIATOR & AUTO REPAIR

They checked out my transmission. The leak was so minor it wasn't worth fixing. They wouldn't take any payment & now I'm shopping for a new car. Highly recommended!

Better than expected. Significant work was needed and A1 provided an accurate estimate range, updates on progress, and they worked late to wrap the job up in a timely manner. Lance is a straightforward, honest guy that really tries to get things perfect every time. I'll definitely be going back.

I contacted A-1 via their website, I received a call back the next day confirming my appointment. When I brought the car in (8am), Lance talked with me about what my concerns were, and some ideas about what the problem might be. He was very clear and friendly to deal with. Late in the morning, he called me with an update about what he'd found, options to deal with it, and to authorize the repairs. His explanation was clear and easy to understand. About mid-afternoon he called to say the car was ready. The price and service was exceptional, and the car drives smoothly again. I'll definitely be back for any service needs.

The cost was fairly low. I thought I had a serious problem. He checked the car and explained to me what the problem was as well as the right course to pursue. He referred us to a body shop. The person to whom he referred us to for the body work, which was the actual need, was efficient and professional. I thought the price was fair. We have not had any problems with the service at all. The quality of the work was very good.

Problem: passenger side window fell into door and became inoperative. I asked that the window be permanently locked in the up position. Lance called to tell me that the damage to the mechanism was extensive and he couldn't do what I asked. He explained some of the options and provided an oral value analysis for the repairs he suggested. Based on that I decided that fixing the window properly was the way to go. The family has two older autos. One is very high mileage, one very low mileage. We trust Lance and his crew to help us maintain those cars. We have used his service at least 5 times - possibly more. We continue using Lance because we trust him. His prices are considerably lower than the service we used before finding A-1. I would recommend A-1 Radiator and Automotive Repair over any other auto service in this area.

Lance and his crew saved us a boatload of money. I originally requested an estimate for front shocks and struts but his mechanics correctly diagnosed my problem as improperly installed stabilizer linkage, done by a well meaning friend. Their professionalism saved us around $450.00 They have a customer for life.

The experience was great. I would be taking my car back because I got to have some more work done. I would recommend them because they know their job because the people that worked on my car got it working. It was a very reasonable price. His name is Lance. He uses the same manufacturer’s pieces that were in your car originally, like he did on my car. When I called him, he couldn’t talk to me right then but he called me back sooner than I thought he would have.

The person I dealt the most with was Lance. He was awesome. He kept in touch and did a great job on my Jeep. I would highly recommend A1 to everyone I know.

The service was excellent, they actually took the time to explain and demonstrate how struts work and how they can eventually go bad. This is something no other auto shop that I've been to, has done. I have a busy work schedule, and most auto shops are closed on the weekends. These guys were able to get me and out in a timely fashion on a busy saturday morning. The price for service was reasonable, considering other auto shops I've went to. I highly recommend this guys for your auto servicing needs.

Everyone there was friendly and professional. I was surprised not to be charged something and impressed to deal with people of integrity. I highly recommend A-1 and will be using them in the future.

For an aftermarket radiator it looked exactly like the radiator that came out of the car, Very Happy

Awesome service and everything is running smooth with the car. It doesn't sound like some noise maker, it sounds like a Chevy should sound and fast! I had a problem with my exhaust and was told by another place they would have to replace the whole exhaust system. I had been working with Lance a number of years and asked him about it and he said he would check into this. The next day he called and great price and tons of savings! A1 is truly A+1 in their work, everything was done at a great price, professional service and got the job done right! If you haven't checked them out, do it, you will be glad you did!

Everyone is extremely honest, friendly and accommodating and does a wonderful job in servicing and repairing our vehicles. We would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone who is looking for an affordable and excellent mechanic.

Brought car in with a badly leaking heater hose assembly. Looking over the car the next day they also found that the coolant tank was cracked and probably leaking a little. After some initial trouble locating the right parts, the work was performed in less than a day. They did a good job keeping me informed of what they were doing. Final bill matched the estimate and seemed reasonable / fair for the amount of work necessary to replace this part (buried behind the engine and surrounded by other components).

I have used A-1 for minor repairs for the past couple years. They seem very honest and sometimes don't even charge me if they do an inspection/analysis and don't find anything. THey never find "extra" things wrong with the car when you have them inspect it for a particular issue. They did my brakes and let me know that my rears did not need replacing, despite the noise (they said it was comon for my 2000 Odyssey, but could replace the brakes if need be). They also replaced an EGR valve to address a persistent "check engine light" for much cheaper than the dealership quoted. However, that light came on again a few months later, so apparently we did not get to the root. That repair may have bveen better off for the dealeship to do.

They were great. Everything that they did was good. I was satisfied with their care.

I feel comfortable with them. I have no problems with them.

They have done many repairs on my car. They are very knowledgeable and personable. They are good people and know what they are doing. The prices are comparable.

I had been told by my Ford dealer that it was time to have my coolant flushed and replaced so I made an appointment with A-1 for that and the free AAA winter checkup. Lance said that my coolant was just fine and did not need to be replaced. He did a thorough visual checkup and said everything was OK except that my front brake calipers had been affected by road salt and were not releasing properly. As a result, the inside pads were badly scarred. The back brakes were still fine. Lance ordered the necessary parts and they were promptly delivered. Within about 1 1/2 hours the front brakes were replaced and I was on my way. Lance was exceptionally good about showing me areas of concern and explaining what I was looking at. I was treated with respect during the entire time. I previously had this company replace a fuel pump and was also pleased with that repair. I will continue to use this company for all auto repairs in the future.

I use them very often. They have been on time every time and I have been very satisfied. They are especially nice to older people, and I just have a very good feeling.

We have used them for quite a few years and have always been very satisfied with their work. Extremely honest and they have integrity.

I've never had to take anything back there. I have to leave my car there, but it's worth it. I'll continue using them in the future
