GNV Contracting

Gene returned my phone call in a reasonable amount of time for this non-critical work. We set up a mutually convenient time for him to come over and evaluate the work and, if possible, actual start on the work. Gene came over at the agreed upon time on Saturday morning. We walked him through what we needed and then showed him the problem with the chair rail. Gene took a few minutes probing the areas to make sure that there were not further underlying problems and then let us know that it would take him two to three hours to fix. He asked if he could go ahead and do it right away and, while we did other chores in the house, Gene got to work on the problems. He had all the equipment that he needed as he had brought extra materials to cover all of the contingencies that he thought might be needed based upon out phone call. He worked consistently and smoothly and cleaned up completely as he finished each part of the work. He was done completely in a little over 2 hours. I paid him more than he requested because we were so pleased with the results.
