Heard nightmare contractor stories? This guy is the opposite of those other guys. Steve marino is the best there is. He will not do work without explaining the options and will provide expert advice if asked. He even took the time to help us chalk out our master bathroom framing so we could envision the changes better (not his job, we had a designer doing the plans but he was actually more helpful!). He and his crew work incredibly hard and show up when they say they will. They are professional, clean up after themselves and you can tell they truly take pride in their work. If you hire Steve you can rest assured that you will be getting the best service and quality around. He goes above and beyond to finish things on time and in budget. He is honest about any issues or price changes. Will never hire anyone else for our construction needs.

Simply the best! I was looking to add some interest to my front porch that was lacking in curb appeal. I hired Steve Marino and solicited not only his services, but also his ideas. He provided some ideas, recommended specific, quality materials, and installed a post and railing that created exactly the look I wanted. Steve and a team member arrived on time and got right to work. They worked straight through, until it was completed, all litter picked up and the area cleaned. The finishing touch was to mount the flag holder and hang the flag for us. The job was done professionally, timely and economically. I would hire again and would highly recommend Steve Marino Construction Mgmt. for any construction/home improvement.

Steve and his team were thorough and remedied the problem. They identified the problem and didn't stop until the "water test" proved that the crack was sealed and there was no further leak. our basement has been dry since the repair was done over a year ago. His team worked well together and the drywall repair that was needed following the fix was very well done, which included texturing the wall. We have had Steve and his crew back to do some other minor repairs around the house and were pleased with that work as well.

Marino construction came out to replace and repair one of my houses, and not only were they prompt and informative, but their pricing was excellent and craftsmanship is next to none. I would recommend Steve Marino and his crew to anyone looking for house remodeling, especially exterior work.

Our bathroom was destroyed by a leak. Our whole shower and steam unit had to be replaced. They also had to repair my garage as the ceiling fell from the water damage. This guy and his crew were beyond awesome. They took care of ALL the details, including working with the insurance company. The job was done on-time, on-budget and looks brand new...yet original. They also clean up after themselves and call if there was a delay; keeping us up-to-date always with outstanding customer service and explaining everything in detail. Many friends have since used him and they are all ecstatic -- most buy be dinner they are so happy with his work and my referral!

It went GREAT. From the minute Steve walked in the door to evaluate the repair and remodeling work that needed to be completed, he had a positive and professional attitude. He focused on the issues as hand, made an evaluation, and provided a highly comprehensive analysis and breakdown of the costs involved. Chosen out of 3 contractors, Steve was the right choice. All deadlines were met and the project came in on budget. I would highly recommend as I believe the job will be completed correctly.

Steve was on site every day to make sure that everything was done correctly and that the crew was moving along efficiently. He included us the whole way on the project and was very good at explaining what was happening during the process. The clean up was excellent and if there were any issues, he was there to fix it right away. It has been a couple of years since the house has been done and he checks in to see if there are any issues. We did have some recent damage and he was there within a day to repair it. I feel that Steve Marino really took ownership in my house project and was extremely reliable. I have recommended him to several family members for work.

- The exterior lights all need to be re-done, talking to an electrician he said it was done wrong and we may need to take down siding - Bent shingles on the front of the house where the crew had the ladder leaning on them, after asking 3-4 times and was told it would be fixed, it was never done. - I was told by Steve he had guys that worked for him for a long time, the first group of workers doing the siding were fired and the roofers were also replaced during the project. the roofers ended up finishing the siding - Areas where siding was cut incorrectly, they used caulk to fix it versus cutting a new piece - Promised multiple times to re-roof my shed for a cost, kept telling me tomorrow, it was never done - Steve promised to bring in an engineer to look at my garage, never happened. - I still have corners with crooked or incorrect miters, even asking for them to be fixed they weren't - Steve kept telling me he would be here, checking on things onsite. It was rare that he was actually here doing anything, The roofers worked 3-4 hours a day and then sat around the rest of the time. It got to a point it was so bad we were making jokes about it, Steve would show up and they would work, as soon as he left. Nothing. There were days I didn't want to walk outside because the workers were just sitting by my front door. - I was told 2 weeks for the entire project, it took more than 2 months for all the work to be complete - Steve threatened me to put a lien on my house because of payment, he was told he would not be paid until it was complete, I couldn't get the insurance money until it was done. He threatened me after not paying after one day, he was the one that was late by over 2 months, what a joke. Update after 2 years: - Steve did come back a couple times to fix things that failed since the initial installation - I still have siding falling down, but Steve no longer responds - Many areas of siding were done incorrectly so they are unable to contract or expand with the weather - I had a new contractor come out for some water issues, it was discovered that the new roof exhaust vents were installed upside down and water has filled the exhaust piping - I can't recommend Steve for work i wanted to like Steve, but overall the experience was very disappointing

I have known Steve for almost 8 years. Steve’s company was hired by our condo association for repair and maintenance work. His work was impeccable, smart and cost effective. Steve’s expertise in construction management, and ability to problem solve by addressing the root cause of an issue are second to none! He ensures that the repairs are permanent in nature and I can vouch that there were no reoccurrences of any problem after Steve and his crew took care of it. In addition, Steve is extremely professional, honest, and trustworthy. I’ve seen Steve put homeowner’s best interest at the forefront time and time again. His high ethics and superb workmanship have earned my respect. I would recommend Steve and his company to any homeowner who needs a general contractor and rest assured you’ll be in good hands!

This was our third project with Steve, and honestly, he is the best. He is always willing to go above and beyond. As an example, our cabinet designer called him to ask if he thought any measurements had changed in the ktichen after he completed demo.. He came all the way back out to our house to re-measure everything for her. Everything ran on time and Steve was always great with communication. I cannot say enough good things about Steve and I would not hestitate to recommend him or use him again.

Steve provided me with a reasonable price estimate for various projects I needed done, he is always responsive to questions and phone calls, and just overall great to work with. His team is professional, skilled and courteous and made me feel comfortable with the work they needed to do. Might I also add that they are quick - in and out in a flash and they clean up after themselves! I would hire Steve again in a minute (and in fact, I already have) as I have the utmost confidence in him and his team!

As with any remodeling job, there are always some unexpected surprises. When there were any issues, Steve thoroughly discussed them with me and ensured that I was comfortable with the solution. He is a very knowledgeable and helpful professional.

As usual, Steve was absolutely great. His work is superior. Steve is honest, very cost effective and leaves the project in excellent condition. Whenever I have an issue with the house, Steve is the first person that I call.

Steve and his employees. Are fantastic ! All of them pay close attention to detail. If we ever had any questions he was always willing to answer them or explain. He is a caring person that will only do quality work. We got to know him and his crew quit well and we are still in touch from time to time. The question below about price i do not know as it was all handled through emergency fire and water restoration.

I am very impressed with the knowledge and expertise that Steve exemplifies. I think he is also consulted as an expert in his field. He has good ideas because of his experience and his creativity. His ability to assess a situation and explain it to me at my level is well appreciated too! He tells it like it is. There is no fluff. If he knows it is costly, complex, or not possible, he will tell you the truth. I would rather have that than go into a project and spend more than anticipated, or be unpleasantly surprised. In addition, Steve is prompt in his responses and keeps his appointments. He is both dependable and accountable. Lastly, I can tell that he really enjoys what he does. I recall meeting with him for a consultation and 2 hours later getting a text from him about another idea he had on the consultation at hand. He was still thinking about it! The construction went excellent. Steve has made trips back to our house to fix little things. Not bad thing, just things that my wife and I are particular about.

He ordered the door, and came to install it. Very pleased with workmanship, and he worked around my scedule. Very fair and easy to work wirh and very clear he loves what he does.
