The work is perfect. We have an older home and it is difficult to get anything perfect but Bob's team has worked miracles on both my kitchen remodel and now my storm door replacement.

Sawfish built our house, which we bought from a previous owner who did a tear down then flip. They generally did a good job on our house. Due to this, we hired them to replace a bank of windows with french doors.
The company they had us go through to order the door caused over a month of delays in even getting the order in. There was no help from Sawfish expediting this processes. When I asked to go with someone else because of the delays, they stood behind their people.
Sawfish did not arrive to start the project the day they said they would as confirmed in multiple emails. I took off work for this and my wife and baby had arranged to be out of town for the start.
Once starting, they realized they remembered the structure of the wall differently, so there would be an additional $1000 added to the bill. If they would have referenced their own blueprints from 1 year prior (when the house was built) this wouldn't have been a surprise when they put a hold into the wall.
After the hole was made in our house for the door, they realized the wrong door size was ordered. It took another month to get the correct door frame in place. They did a poor job coordinating with their sub-contractors (electrician) to get the outdoor light placed in a timely manner.
A project that we were told would only take a couple of days took months and was hugely disruptive to our family. Instead of apologizing and / or a discount, they gave us a bill significantly increased over the original quote and blamed the door guy for all the problems rather than taking responsibility. This all delayed our landscapers resulting in a summer with a new patio lost.
Very frustrating; hugely disappointing.

The job went great and the quality was great. Everything went so smoothly that I couldn't point out any problems or anything. The manager and workers were respectful. They cleaned up and did what they said they would do. I felt they really took care of me while they were here.

We have two bathrooms in our home so remodeling this bathroom was not as much of a hardship as it would have been if there had only been one. Work proceeded as promised though it took a little longer than originally thought. Crew respectful; non-smokers; diligent. Contractor has good working/respectful relationship with Milwaukee city inspectors. I have used Sawfish Contracting for all of my private home and business remodeling jobs over the last ten years, totaling over one-half million dollars. Too bad Bob was not in business 25 years ago when I hired other contractors for attic and basement remodels without the same positive results. I recommend Bob Nash without reservation.

When a different contractor repeatedly failed to show up for our porch rebuild job and the window of time for this work was narrow, we were referred by a lumber company to Bob Nash. We'd purchased some parts already, but when codes threatened to reverse their decision on rail height, Bob immediately called the right inspector & solved the problem in one call. Working with codes is his strong suit. Bob is not cheap, but gives a "not more than" quote on labor, so there are no escalating surprises there. Quality of work was great, he was always on site when needed, reachable quickly by phone, flexible in problem-solving. He was OK with us doing some pre-painting work (sealing, priming)ourselves. Later when our home sale hinged on cost of 3rd floor code work, he attended a variance request meeting with me, resulting in $5500 saved. Bob completed code work for new owners paid by us but pleasing them; a tricky psychological situation. Bob seems up for any challenge!

Mr. Nash did an excellent job rough framing my new house. Everything was plumb and square which saved me a lot of time doing the finish work on the inside of my house. Even though he started a week late he was able to finish on schedule. Excellent work.
