I emailed the company at the address I got from their website and told them one of the springs in the seat of my recliner had broken. They replied promptly and asked me to give them a picture of the problem and all of the information I could get from the manufacturer tag. After sending them this information they said no problem, 3-4 weeks for parts, which are direct from the factory and no cost to me, and $50-65 for labor. I scheduled my appointment for four weeks later, received a confirmation email the day before and Marty arrived ten minutes early (8:50am) on a Saturday! The repair was finished in about ten minutes and the cost was $50. I can finally sit in my beloved recliner again!

I should mention that I chose to correspond via email and not via telephone, which is another option. They were prompt in responding and friendly. I would definitely use them again, except they left me the extra parts (company sent them a whole replacement set!) so I might have to try it myself if there is a next time.

When the rocker recliners were purchased, we chose to replace the bases with swivel bases. However, they were tippy and always felt off center. Finally, after puttiong up with them for four years, we decided to replace them with the correct bases. Martin ordered them from Lazy Boy and replaced the swivel bases. Both Martin and his office personnel were polite and helpful. The work was completed in my home. Martin was on time and professional. I would definitely call Martin Furniture Services again and highly recommend this company.

A few weeks ago, I was sitting in my half of a double recliner loveseat. I moved to get up, and it felt like something inside broke. The chair tilted slightly and would no longer recline. It was not a good time to replace the whole loveseat, and it's much too heavy for us to carry around, so I searched for someone who would come to our home and repair it. I found no one currently on Angie's List who fit the bill, so I searched the Internet. I found a couple of sites, e-mailed Martin Furniture, and they responded right away. They had us find manufacturing information on the recliner, ordered the mechanism (or whatever it is that breaks), and contacted us when they had the part. Marty came to our home last Saturday and promptly made my half of that loveseat work like new. I am thrilled to have my "sitting spot" back at far less cost than replacing the item.
