It went very well. He did the job at our convenience. I had to be out of the house when it was done. He was here when he said. The job was done perfectly when I got home.

Jeff did an excellent job, no rough areas. He blocked the registers and cold air returns while sanding. I had seen his work previously at someone else's house and liked it. He took special care on the back hall landing, only putting finish on 1/2 and laying down a moving quilt over the fresh floor so the upstairs tenants could get in and out without damaging the new finish. This involved extra time & stops, after the rest of the work was completed. He coated the new thresholds for me. He increased his base fee in 2008 from $2.25 to $2.35 /sq ft, my estimate was some months prior. There was just a little fine dust on the window sills. (All of this in sharp contrast with the last floor sanding experience I had.) He runs a small, one person operation, I recommend him most highly. He left his masonite panels for furniture moving an extra week so I could roll the appliance dolly over them while returning the appliances to the kitchen. Just a great guy!
