Excellent. We were able to pick from a great selection of remnants and only paid for the cutting and installation. The team that did the install was very professional, timely and courteous. I would definitely use Granite Direct again and have already referred a potential customer to them.

We went to Granite Direct on Sunset Drive in Waukesha. They showed us quartz remnants. We chose one quartz remnant for our downstairs bathroom vanity, and a second quartz remnant for our upstairs bathroom sink. We also chose an oval porcelain under-mount for each sink. Eric, from Granite Direct, came to our home about a week later to measure the vanities. They used the measurements to cut the quartz remnants for our vanities. On October 17, 2017, Granite Direct brought the pre-cut quartz tops, quartz backsplashs, and porcelain under-mount sinks to our home. They removed the old marble tops from our vanities. Then, they installed the new vanity tops, backsplashs, and under-mount sinks into our vanities. It took them about 5 hours to do all the work. They did a good job of cleaning up. They took our old vanity tops away too. We purchased new faucets, and had a plumber install the new faucets.

Eric (owner) and Rachel (showroom) were great to work with. Rachel assisted us with choosing the quartz and a granite sink, answered all of our telephone questions, and set up a visit to the distributor so we could view the actual quartz slabs we would be getting. She had excellent knowledge of the product, accurately assessed our comments about likes/dislikes, and suggested the perfect style of quartz for our kitchen.

Eric is very personable and makes it his practice to be hands-on at all jobs. He personally came to our home, took measurements and quickly returned a formal written price estimate, He willingly revised the estimate when we changed our choice of style. He worked around our scheduled vacation trip and scheduled the templating and installation for immediately after our return. All went well and the finished result is awesome.

We had an estimate from another highly rated company but chose to go with Eric simply because we got the definite feeling from him that he took pride in his work and that the result would be top quality. We were right and highly recommend Granite Direct!

The vanity top  was installed at  in the morning of  Tuesday April 28th.   This was for vanity and back-splashes only,
no plumbing R&R, mirror R&R, or laminate vanity top removal.   Upon completion of the installation, my wife
provided a check for the total amount due.

When I arrived home later that afternoon, I was disappointed
to see the rear back-splash was cut short and did not meet the side wall along
with a  gap between the side back-splash
and the wall that had been caulked over.

When Eric had called to schedule the time to measure for the
vanity top, I had specifically asked how they handled bowed walls  and I asked if they cut the backside of the
back-splash to match the wall( laminate tops are scribes to fit the wall, there
is no caulking of gaps) . He said no, they cut the drywall as it is much softer
and easier to do.

I proceeded to call Granite Direct that afternoon to note my
displeasure with the quality of the work, again stating the rear back-splash was
cut short and the side back plash was not ?fit? to the wall as we had discussed
during our prior conversation.  Eric did
not recall this conversation. I pressed him for resolution as I was not happy
with the results, again the laminate counter fit tight to the wall on all
sides. He then stated he would need to check on availability of the material.
In GOOD FAITH, I accepted his word that he would procure replacement material
and correct the deficiency to my satisfaction. I did not place a hold on the check
that was provide as payment for the vanity and installation as I thought Eric
would do the noble thing and honor his word to look for material and resolve
this issue.

As of Friday, May 1st, I had not received any
call back or notification as what the status was to resolve this issue. I had called
their office that afternoon and left a message noting that I would like
resolution to this issue and would expect a call back not later than the end of
business on Monday may 4th.

It has been 3 weeks since Monday May 4th and I have not
heard anything from Granite Direct.

At this point it appears. His, ?check on availability of
material? was a stall tactic to allow my check to clear.

UPDATED 7/8/2015

An unfortunate 'glitch" in communications at Grantie Direct  lead me to write  my initial review.  I have since been contacted by Eric ( owner) and we have worked out an amicable   resolution to the counter-top installation. Eric was easy to talk to in a face-to-face discussions regarding my concerns  and am now happy with the vanity top.

Working with Granite Direct was an excellent experience. Eric (owner) is helpful and skilled. He prepares the counters at his shop so by not having a middleman, the cost is lower for the customer. The work is beautiful--everyone who sees our new counters is impressed!

Over the past 4 years Granite Direct has installed granite countertops in our kitchen, upstairs full bath and now our master bath. Each job was done on time and on budget and the results exceeded our expectations. Eric and Matt run a truly professional operation and are a pleasure to do business with. You cannot go wrong selecting Granite Direct for your granite project.

I had been looking for years for the right granite to replace my existing formica kitchen counter tops. I finally found the granite but was unsure of who to have install it. I got three estimates and went with Eric at Granite Direct and couldn't have been happier. I was a bit nervous because Eric's bid came in below everybody else's and I couldn't find any ratings for him in Angie's list. I called his references and they had nothing but good things to say about him. I am so happy with everything that Eric and his team did. It was fun to see the templates on the actual granite slab before he cut it. He takes extra pride in his seams, trying to match the stone color/pattern and smoothly join them. (The guy who installed my tile backsplash had trouble finding the seam).
Eric was very easy to work with. He was friendly, neat and professional. He also had a plumber who he worked with and they coordinated their schedules so that the plumber came shortly after the counter was installed to hook up the sink and garbage disposal etc. The plumber was great too. (I could have use my own plumber if I had had one).
Our kitchen looks great! I would definitely use Eric at Granite Direct again and highly recommend him.
