After the check engine light activated in my 2005 Grand Prix, I had auto-zone diagnose the issue. After finding out it was just an issue with the cooling system, I decided to wait until I could talk to Tim at JnT Service. Upon providing him the engine code read out, he indicated it was most likely a weak thermostat. I also indicated that the water in the radiator wasn't looking so great. We scheduled a time the following week to have the service done.

I dropped the car off the night before and prepared my backup vehicle to head to work in the morning. Once work was done, I stopped by the shop to see if the car was still complaining about being cold, it wasn't. The thermostat was replaced and the radiator was flushed and filled back up. Tim reported that the car would now be able to roast me about, and he was right about that! I was also given a tip to not mix Dexcool® (red) and regular (green) antifreeze, as they don't play well together. I like tips like that, they keep my vehicles on the road longer.

I recommend J-N-T Service because I've never been asked to pay for parts that were not necessary and any work performed is top notch.

TIP: Stop in to make an appointment, the shop calendar fills up fast.
