Watts Landscape Service

Called them for help with my ailing lawn. A pleasant, apparently knowledgeable person came at the appointed time and urged me to take soil samples to be analyzed by the public lab. I said I would but when I found out how much trouble and expense this was I didn't do it (I don't love lawns, I was hoping they would do the fussing with the lawn, not give me extra work). In the meantime Watts emailed me an estimate with another customer's name and address on it, though it seemed to be for the work we had discussed. I emailed back that I wasn't the person named in the estimate and asked for clarification. I had no response and have not communicated with them since. For all I know they provide superb lawn care, but I never found out.

Watts treated me like I was the very last priority on their list. I'm guessing they have many corporate accounts that pay hundreds of thousands of dollars, so maybe my $10000 was just a drop in the bucket. But for me it was a huge sum of money.  Watts failed me in every conceivable way. They were hard to deal with, and expensive. Three years later, most of the grass has still not grown, it looks awful, they refuse to do anything about it, and it was a pain to get them to replace trees that had died.
