I had had others look into installing my ceiling fan. It was a tricky install; a handyman who was wise enough to know it was too difficult for him gave me the information for Krantz. The electrician at Krantz told me how he thought it should be done (with a remote control switch, and not with any wired switches) and how much extra money it would cost to add wired switches if I wanted them anyway. He . He only spent about an hour or two installing the fan, and it works perfectly. No one else that looked at it could think of a way to do it simply or cheaply. The handyman came back to do some other work, and was pleased to hear about the excellent solution the Krantz electrician found.

All items repaired. Came back at no charge to provide better fixture for door bell.

The electrician checked the fuse box several times and then went outside and determined it was the post light next to the driveway. He disconnected the light and said I could call them back in the Spring to re-connect it after laying a new line. I wasn't happy to pay that much and still not have everything working properly, but I must say I was relieved to finally know the cause of the electrical outage.

I am so happy with the service I got from Krantz Electric. I had been trying to get someone to come install a ceiling fan for nearly a year, and no one had been willing to do it. Finally an honest handyman said it was beyond his abilities when *he* came to look at the job, and he recommended Krantz Electric. I was able to get someone out to install it a mere eight days later (after months of waiting!), and Dennis was punctual, professional, and knowledgeable. He asked me questions about how I wanted it placed and we discussed possible locations for the switch, and he went to work. He had it installed in 2 hours and I couldn't be happier.

Was very favorable in working with Jeff and Dennis.  Did a great job at a low price compared to other quotes I got!!!   Finished basement lighting is much brighter than the dreary dark lighting from before and looks great!!!  Have 1 or 2 possible electrical projects for the future and I will be calling Krantz again if I decide to do them.

Works frequently with Schwoegler Remodeling (they did drywall, insulation etc.) and the combination turned out to be one of the best decisions I've made.  We are now using the newly finished basement quite a bit more now.

I've used them several times. They did a great job. I certainly felt the price was very reasonable for the service that they performed. I had them do a whole bunch of little things and struck me as a very reasonable price. It took them less than a morning to do half a dozen little things. I can't think of any reason I wouldn't give them an A.

Very pleased with the recommendations and the expertise of the professionals. Came back to troubleshoot a problem with the venting to the fan in the main bath at no charge. The new fans are super quiet and efficient -- no more fogged over mirrors. Love the new lighting also. Vanity lighting is like a big make-up mirror now and closet lighting is huge improvement.



Krantz drilled hole in my mirror frame before I took it to have the mirror installed so that installation of the fixture would go smoothly.

We've used Kranz for this work and work at our previous home. The job went well.

Technician arrived on time and quickly installed the ceiling fan. He then checked the outside outlet that wasn't working and determined the cause...cleaned it out and is now working. He was at my house approximately 1 hr, 10 minutes. However, I was billed for 1.75 hours plus sales tax for the labor (rate listed as $85/hr). I am assuming, then, that billing begins from when he left their shop until he returned to it, rather than time spent on-site.

Originally the electrical work was adequate, but the "clean-up" was always minimal. Cut wires, broken plaster, etc. were always left in a pile on the floor, but I figure I could clean that up easily. At our final encounter we were upset about 2 things: the work on the kitchen exhaust fan destroyed the ceiling wall into which it was inserted and left that way and a worker spent 2-3 hours in his truck waiting for MGand E to show up to turn off outside power and then wanted to charge us for that "labor. We've found a new electrician who does excellent work, charges a bit more (I think), but is both respectful of our home and of us. I would never use Krantz again!

Our garbage disposal on/off switch was becoming 'touchy' and finally failed all together. I was going to replace it myself, but as I was trying to locate the correct breaker, the one controlling the fridge would not come on after repeated attempts. I finally got it back on. I had to leave town for several days, plus I'm not one to touch the breaker box, so I made a call to Krantz electric. We had used them several years ago to hook up all the electrical connections for my basement remodel and I was very pleased with the results. The service manager again very pleasant to work with. If needed, he was willing to fit us in the schedule for same day service, but I told him we could live without the disposal for one more day. My wife was there when they arrived promptly on time the next morning. They replaced the garage disposal switch as well as a often used GFCI next to it. In addition, they checked another GFCI outlet and the breaker box switch. We had some water damage around the box in past years, but they checked it and it was still dry. They cleaned the breaker and said it was good to go. I'd definitely recommend them.

The electrician was 15 minutes early. I personally did not like that because it was in the morning. The electrician was not very friendly not rude but not friendly. He did exactly what I asked for, cleaned up his mess, and was quick about it. So overall they did a good job. When I called to ask a question about the bill they were very responsive.

This was a custom job, that would require a little investigation, before an estimate could be provided. So we agreed to the standard hourly rate and, following discussion with the electrician regarding options for the installation, the work was performed. The electrician did good work, in a timely manner. I would definitely use them again and recommend them to my friends.

I called cold and they set up an appointment for the next day. The baseboard job seemed tricky, but the electrician viewed it as an interesting challenge. He was prompt, skillful, and efficient. The price seemed very fair. About two hours of work and some materials.
