About us

Brandon has been around the plumbing trade since he was 8 years old. His father employed him after school and in the summers helping around the shop. Doing odd jobs and learning to solder, making $4.25 an hour. He is a third generation plumber following his father and grand father in the trade. He is proud to follow in their foot steps and to make new paths as modern technology and greener alternatives become available. Brandon started his apprenticeship after attending Verona Area High School and joining MATC in the apprenticeship program and becoming a Wisconsin licensed plumber. A short time after his father wanted to step down and retire and Brandon has been running the business ever since. Brandon was born and raised in Verona and is proud to meet new customers and neighbors every day.

I had a noisy check valve. They came and fixed it so it was better, but not really good. They then called and came back with a different part which solved the problem.

Cooper Plumbing were incredibly helpful. Came over right away and diagnosed the problem. When Sears couldn't deliver the part they found a used one to tide us over. The nicest kindest people!!!

They could have better prices. The problem was the first hour and then they divide it afterwards. He was in my house for 15 minutes and I ended up paying for the whole hour. The quality of work was good. I had no problems with it. It took them a little while to come out.

The plumber arrived at my house at approximately 12:30pm on Monday August 8th. He diagnosed and fixed the problem in about 45 minutes, however as he was putting the tub handle back on he tightened the screws too tight and broke the handle. So then he had to take everything apart again and replace several parts since he had to replace our tub handle with a newer one. It took him another 45 minutes to put everything back together and leave. I was surprised to get my bill and see that I was charged for 2 hours of work, even though the last hour of work was because the plumber himself broke something. When I called the company and explained what happened I was told "it's tricky when working with water to know who is at fault and why the part broke" even though the plumber said out loud that he broke the part because it was plastic and he tightened it too much. The company offered to take $36.50 off the $236.50 bill, meaning that I only overpaid by $61.50. And a bill that should have been $138.50 actually cost me $200.00. I will never again go back to or recommend Cooper Plumbing because of this experience and will urge friends, family, and other duplex owners to choose another company when looking to fill plumbing needs.

Called three or four water softener providers/installers.  From the initial phone call through to the actual installation the Cooper people were the most knowledgeable and most helpful in discussing my needs.  They explained their product thoroughly, selected a unit to meet my soft water usage, and installed it quickly and efficiently.  They were on time, friendly, and stayed until they were sure I understood the new unit.  Price was fair.
