We have not had any problems. They did a good job. I will recommend them and use them, again. This location has gone out of business, so we will have to pay for the service going forward since the new location will not honor our warranty.

Easy to schedule. Came on time. Prices were reasonable (window treatments are expensive but I was expecting more.) Jeff was upfront in costs and options. Flexible in installing times/requirements. Very professional. Gave us a nice discount for being first time customers. No concerns whatsoever.

Repair was done very well. For the cleaning he couldn't do, he referred us to a great place, and also gave me some great advice on ordering vane savers for a discontinued model. Very honest shop, great service and value. I would highly recommend.

The product and installer were good, but that's about where it ended. At install there was a mysterious $375 on our bill with no explanation. I had to drive over to show him my original invoice because they don't keep any records digitally. Then they tried to get me to split the difference between what I agreed to pay and what they tacked on. Turned out their salesperson couldn't do math properly. Also, when our blinds failed to come in on time and the company didn't know where they were no one bothered to call us. When I called them to find out what happened and request I be kept up to date on my delayed order I was told " if I called everyone all day I wouldn't get any work done." Customer service SHOULD be part of your job. All in all, my blinds look nice. They really need to improve some core business processes though. I wouldn't use them again, and would suggest others avoid the headaches I had.

The sales team were friendly and professional but they added my balance incorrectly and almost overcharged me. I did change my mind and adjusted my order and they were extremely helpful with that. However, my blinds took three times longer to be delivered then they were initially promised. When they finally did come in, there was always some delay as to why they couldn't be installed on the dates available. That being said, I had a really tight schedule on my end and another client could get them put in faster, but still, not many options available. I didn't shop around because my time is more important than saving a few bucks but after waiting for weeks and weeks for these blinds, I wish I had. The installer was great and the gentlemen answering the phones was very helpful and receptive, but it was just an overall negative experience with worrying I was being ripped off on price with miscalculations and then having to wait so long on the blinds.

We hired Budget Blinds on Odana Road in Madison to put new shades on all of the windows in our house. These folks are the nicest, friendliest, hardest working people you will ever hire for window shades. We wanted the shades installed in a particular way and there were some problems in accomplishing that. They tried installing them several different times but there were still some issues. So they sent out the owner, the installer, an engineer and a factory representative to personally see what could be done to resolve the issues. They spent a whole afternoon with us figuring out how to make the shades work for us and had them remade. They even remade a couple of them twice. Now they are perfect and we really enjoy them. During the whole process they replied to emails and phone calls promptly; scheduled visits at our convenience and arrived on time. They appeared at our home in a friendly, clean, professional manner. It was a pleasure working with these folks. We got to know them on a first name basis, even met family members and got to know the owner’s dog by his first name! All in all, a fine example of a good company doing the best work to make a customer happy. The product, quality and service were outstanding. The appearance of the finished installation was top notch. We recommend Budget Blinds to anyone considering new shades.

Since posting this review we had an unexpected problem with the appearance of a shade that could not be fixed. They ordered another one from the manufacturer. That one was better but still not perfect. They contacted the manufacturer about making another one. The manufacturer said that was about as good as it was going to get because of the style of fabric we ordered and the place we were going to install it would not change the appearance. Not knowing what we wanted to do at that point, they offered to just give us the shades and refund the entire cost of the job as a thank you being patient with the unexpected issues that occurred with that particular kind of shade.

So would we recommend Budget Blinds? You bet! They stuck with us through all of the problems with the shades they were receiving from the manufacturer of the shades we selected and they advocated on our behalf. As a result, we received a full refund plus a promise from Budget Blinds to stand behind the shades if we had any more problems. You can't ask for more than that. We recommend Budget Blinds.
