Kelvin Wagner worked with me to try to identify the best location to place a 24' W X 26' D garage on my property in White Lake, Wisconsin. Local zoning restrictions kept us from placing the garage on flat land, so a design was made to build the garage into the side of a hill along the north property line. The hill was excavated by a sub-contractor, then the floor slab and brick walls (6' high in back, 6' high along portion of sides with 4' high on front half of sides. Ten foot interior height was built with standard wood stud and truss system. A standard roof with ridge vent was shingled to match the house, as well as grey double-lap siding was placed on the outside to also match the house. Four windows along with a standard 8' X 16' garage door and separate personnel door were included. A 1/2 HP electric garage door opener was also included. Entire process took about 4 weeks, primarily due to rain storms throughout the month of August. Kelvin was excellent in communications, addressing my lack of knowledge of construction, and helping me make decisions on materials and design concepts. Overall, the experience was excellent and I would recommend K Wagner Builders, LLC, to anyone in the Antigo, Wisconsin, Langlade County area who is interested in having a custom home, addition, remodel, or additional building, such as my garage completed.
