I hired ABP electric to do an electrical job at my home in Barrington. Brett was on vacation who is the owner of ABP electric and he sent 3 men to do the job they were professional and knew EXACTLY what to do with the wiring. I would definitely recommend this company for any electrical issues you have in your home. Excellent service and knowledgeable in what had to be done. 5 Stars!!

The gentlemen who came to my house were very friendly and professional. I originally hired them to determine why I couldn't get my outdoor deck light to work. The original fixture just stopped working. I installed two other fixtures and neither of them worked either. For some insane reason, when I had them install a fourth fixture, it worked perfectly and it only took them a few minutes. So, they asked if I needed anything else done as I was going to be charged a trip charge for an hour's worth of service anyway. So, I had them change out a switch for an outlet for no extra charge. Unfortunately, I couldn't come up with anything else for them to do at the time but they were more than willing to work for the full hour at no extra charge. Highly unusual but much appreciated.

Did a fine job on my main project (installing a 240 electrical line from first floor laundry to the electrical panel in my basement) They saved me money on under kitchen cabinet lights that we thought had to be replaced.

When the estimate was given, there was NO mention that I would have to hire someone else for the small drywall repair. This was a total surprise to me, an inconvenience, and it doubled the cost of the project. On top of that, the electricians did not use drop cloths to cover the work area. This created a huge mess, and was quite disrespectful of my home environment.

Brett removed knob and tube wiring from our older home, fixed a light switch with a shorted out wire plus fixed some wiring that was not properly insulated in our basement all for a reasonable price. Brett and his crew are great to work with, cleaned up afterward and did quality work. Brett is my "go to" electrician from now on.

The young man that installed four of my outside light fixtures did a wonderful job! He was respectful, clean and friendly!

Brett actually answered the phone and called me back when he said he would. He called and showed up when scheduled, did excellent work at a very reasonable price. I would definitely use Abp and recommend them to anyone.

Brett was easy to work with and easy to schedule. The guys worked swiftly, repsectfully and cleanly. The finished product is much better than what i foresaw, and I am glad I listened to Brett's recommendations.
