Otto's Carpentry

Found carpenter to be very skilled and professional in both his work and attitude.

While the work that was finally performed was good, Otto is not dependable. Said it would be done in August of 2024, then September, then October, then November, then first thing in the spring and finally, today, almost 10 months later, was finished. Not trustworthy and not dependable. Very disappointed in him.

Got a call right away and he came out the next day to install our door. Door was installed really well. Would highly recommend to others.

He had a new door on hand and was able to my job immediately. He was a good communicator and was very easy to deal with. I would definitely hire him again.

We haven't used him yet, but he responded and came out same day! That is customer service. The prices are high but good quality work costs money and carpentry work and lumber are expensive. We decided to go ahead based on his knowledge, work ethic, customer service and reviews. He is personable and has 30 yrs experience - his dad was Otto and he walks in his dad's footsteps - I'm sure his dad is proud of him. He gave us options also and sounded honest and sincere in everything he said and we look forward to working with him soon.

I needed a door jam repaired and Chad's work was above and beyond my expectations. He also replaced an old screen door which was a pleasant surprise. I am so pleased with his expertise and workmanship. The damaged area to the door was extensive but the repair is exquisitely beautiful. I would recommend him to everyone , they will not be disappointed.

Chad was more thorough with the whole process of what needed to be done about replacing our wind damaged rear exit door after high winds took it open and pulled off the hinges. He gave us more options than the other companies did. His work was professional, and the cost was very reasonable.

Very fast to respond and do work

I had a broken sliding patio door that I was struggling with trying to open & close! I am 62 yrs old, disabled & recently my position w/the Company I worked for after 11 years, eliminated the Department I worked in. I kept putting off this repair due to finances. Also, afraid that the door may be in such bad shape I would need a new one, which I really couldn't afford! Otto's Carpentry to the rescue! The door got so bad that I really could hardly open/close it so I needed to get it fixed! I went on Angie's & Chad immediately called me. I didn't even have to wait, he was here bright & early next day! If it was an emergency, he would even have come out that night,(and it was later p.m. already), if he had to! Being an older door, he set the expectation that it may not even be able to be fixed! Well, he worked his "magic" & the door is good as new! He even put a new handle on as the old was 1/2 broke right off & missing the lock! He made it so the blinds on the inside of the glass worked again AND he fixed a piece of the wood trim that was falling off(without me even asking)! I hadn't asked him to do that as I knew that would raise the price & I didn't have any extra $'s. Let me tell you...he is fair & affordable! He is a "old school" hard worker, works long hours & even weekends! He is knowledgeable & will do the job right...no short cuts here! I think he knows how to do just about anything & he will let you know if the repair is worth it, good or bad & the issues that could possibly arise! He is honest, real, down to earth & no BS! You can't find a harder, more dedicated or experienced worker! A+++ rating for Chad, I would trust him w/ any job I need done AND would highly recommend him to anyone! Thanks Chad, will call you back when I can afford my next project!

My garage door was broken into (the side, man door). You don't have to call Chad. You rub a lamp and he appears. New door installed - same day. And he noticed and repaired another issue on the main garage door's frame. Highly recommended.

5 star service across the board. Unless you have a brand new house it's going to require more than just removing and replacing your existing door. Chad from Otto's tore out and replaced the entire framework and replaced a ton of rotted wood. He was here late after dark to finish everything and is a true craftsman. We will definitely call him again.

Chad came and looked at the job and gave us a fair price we could handle The big box store would have just slapped a new door on but Chad tore out the entire framing and replace some rotted wood and spent a lot of time getting the fit perfect as we have an old house with a lopsided door opening. He went above and beyond explaining our issues. We are now starting to save for our next project. We would reccomend Otto's carpentry to everyone!

A little sticker shock when it came to the front door replacement and storm door. My dad went through Angie and Chad from Otto's Carpentry made outreach within minutes. Chad was able to do a same day appointment for a quote. Chad was very friendly and courteous to my dad and also listened to the issue at hand. Instead of selling a brand new door. Chad advised the front door is still solid and good. It just needed sum TLC. He gave a great estimate for the storm door. I highly recommend doing business with Otto's Carpentry if you're in the market for outer door replacement. Chad saved my dad thousands of dollars and the TLC he gave to the front door is very operational for my dad now. Two Thumbs upð ð

chad was very professional and actually listened to the issue on hand with my front door my front door just needed some tlc so it would not stick no being an expert chad made a professional decision with my approval the estimate was not check book breaking in the future if i need further assistance he will available the front door project was not a bad experience but a positive experincnce with ottos carpentry
