Everything went really well sans our issues with broken granite sinks from Menards. We ended up getting three before we had one shipped that ones broken. That wasn't the plumbers fault (I should have better inspected the sinks before the plumber showed up, I didn't know they could break like that!)
When we had a working sink everything was install quickly and professionally. Paul, the son of the father/son team, did the install and he knew what he was doing and did a great job.

Mark was very courteous, responsive and did good work. I had no hot water in the house and he was able to do a same day appointment. He charged exactly what he estimated, however after finding out how quickly he was able to do the work I think the price was a bit high. Because I had a fairly urgent need, I did not shop around much.
My biggest issue was the appointment was set for 2 PM and my wife made special work arrangements to be home by that time. Mark did not show up until 3:15 and did not call to let us know he was going to be late. I had to call him at 3 to find out what was going on. A phone call to let us know he was running behind would have been enough to get him an and quot;Aand quot;. I get that things come up, but that's not an excuse to leave us wondering if he is coming.

I have used MARK SCHNEIDER PLUMBING. I used them last summer and also last fall I think. Two different calls. He fixed a leak in our drain of our sink. I think it was around $150. I used them two or three times before and there was a couple times when it was a really small thing and they didn't charge me at all. But this time they charged me the trip charge and it seems like a lot, but I took into account that they had done a couple other things for me at different time and not charged me. I thought that all balances out. I felt like they were reasonable. The labor and the trip charge was expensive and the part was like 89 cents. But also not having your sink not leaking, the drain pipe, that's fairly priceless. I would use them again, I didn't feel like that was unreasonable. I like that they really, they are willing to talk to you about what is going on. They are friendly, personable, they seem to do a good job. They do fine and they are fairly close to where I live, so that's kind of nice that somebody is really local.

This project worked out fine. I should have asked ahead of time about the hourly rate though.

We had a leak in upstairs bathroom that came through the ceiling in kitchen below. Mark came the day after I called and tracked down the source and fixed it right away.

It was a simple job; he fixed it and he didn't charge me even though a different plumber put it in a couple years ago. The faucet is a frost-free faucet and it sticks. The first time they fixed it, I asked if we should replace it even though it would be fairly expensive to do so. He said, no, he could fix it. Over the winter the same issue hit again and he fixed it again. I thought the price was fair for the work he had done for us in the past. He came out within a day or two of me calling him; it wasn't an emergency.

When we moved into this house, we completely redid the bathroom, which means that the toilet was installed new. During the 13 years that my late wife and I lived here, the toilet seal failed at least twice. I stayed on after she passed away, so this latest was the third time in 20 years, and I was keen to ask Mark's son why this problem should be recurring. He said that plumbers these days are not schooled in some of the basics, and this was an example...preventing the toilet from rocking side to side will avoid excessive strain on the seal, and he prevented this wear and tear by reinstalling the seal with the extra support of metal shims.

No more rocking! The toilet is seated like a rock. And hopefully this means no more leaking, or at least far less frequently.

Very pleased with his work and attitude. He was on time, friendly, professional on the two occasions we used his services. Cleaned work area and was responsive to a couple of requests added at the time of his visits.

They were really good. They were very quick and they did a very good job. They were very punctual and cleaned up all the mess by themselves. I would rate them high overall. I would use them again in the future.

The installation at my house took Mark and his assistant the entire day to complete. They really seemed to know what they were doing, and the installation required a lot of labor extending new gas and water lines. Because local plumbing suppliers don't carry tankless in stock, delivery caused an extra day's delay before starting the job, which meant I was without hot water an extra day. But that was okay. Our scheduled times for meeting so that Mark could gather info. for the estimate and then for Mark and his assistant to do the work the day of installation were not met punctually -- an hour or more late in each instance. This should have bothered me since I had to be somewhere else early evening on the day of installation, but I just made the best of it. The point was to get the job done right.

He is wonderful. Mark is excellent, reliable, knowledgeable, and extremely professional in the plumbing industry.

They have extensive experience and knowledge in radiant flooring systems and have been using PEX and other innovative products for decades. They worked quickly and efficiently through the whole project. They made the product selection easy and ordered everything to be delivered as promised and on schedule from their vendors. Mark helped with design and layout of the fixtures as I was handling most of the other work myself. He came up with practical and creative ways around old home plumbing problems. He had many options available for cost effective and durable products. I have been using Mark for several years and through many remodeling projects in this and other homes I have owned. I refer him to all of my friends and family and they all have had exceptional experiences with Mark. It is great to find a contractor who is so well versed in their trade. He is trustworthy and reliable, fair pricing, and one of the nicest guys you ll ever have unclogging your pipes!
