S.K. Painting Inc. is a locally owned and operated painting company, serving Waukesha Washington, Ozaukee, and Milwaukee counties since 1998. We specialize in fine interior finishing, staining and painting. We also offer, exterior painting and staining. Specializing in cedar, fiber-cement, LP, Mirateck, and Azek products. At our shop, we have a full service spray booth, for off-site painting, staining, and finishing of millwork, doors, windows, and cabinets. We bring a combined 60 years of professional field experience to each job. The job turned out well. They were really friendly and easy to work with if we had issues. Great value and the suggested ideas that helped the look. Stu does and excellent job with his business and workers.

We contacted Stu in the summer to assess our needs. He came out quickly and walked through with my husband. SK Painting painted this home years ago when we last had it painted, so we were familiar with their work and knew it would be done well. We decided that the entire home needed painting outside, so Stu put us on their schedule. If you are considering using their service, expect to wait a bit because they book up fast!
Their painters worked quickly and cleanly. I had nothing to clean up after they were finished. The house looks great!

They didn't do all of the trim. They didn't do the edges, and we had to have them come back out and redo it.

Overall, the service was exemplary! Stu, the owner, responded promptly to my email and followed-up with a telephone call to schedule a date for an estimate. He was very professional, timely and meticulous. A small, "punch-list" type of job that most contractors wouldn't bother with and Stu was pleased to help. His painting technique was excellent as was his attention to job site clean-up afterwards. I would absolutely hire Stu again and have already recommended him to numerous people.

They did a great job. They fixed numerous cracks and some minor water damaged areas. They were very professional and courteous. They also moved some of the furniture and removed a heavy wall mirror in order to paint. They protected my items while painting, cleaned up well after themselves and made sure I was satisfied before completing the task. I inquired whether they could recaulk the window where the damage occurred and asked for a quote. They said they could do that and would contact me to provide a quote; however, they never got back to me, even though I followed up. If they didn't want to do the job, they should have just told me, rather than ignore me. I would definitely use them again for painting, because they did a great job with that.

Great! Stu's crew was fantastic - not an error that I can see, and done in only two dayhs. They left the place spotless every night, and helped me figure out before and during the painting if the colors I picked were going to work. I highly recommend them!

They did a great job and the painting was really good. They did damage the furniture but they had somebody come out to take care of it. Their price was a bit more expensive compared to other companies. However, they did a little more work. I would use their services in the future too.

Very well overall. Stuart was very responsive, and unlike many of the painting companies I had contacted previously, he returned phone calls. His crew was very professional. They found several rotted boards mainly due to winter damage. I had seen several of these prior, so I knew they needed replacing. They replaced these, and also a rotted deck railing. The quality of the painting was excellent. We have been through one winter with no signs of peeling or cracking or other winter damage, which had been a problem with the original paint job. I would highly recommend S and K.

Stu arrived a day earlier than planned so he would help prepare the walls (as they were covered in quite a bit of glue from all of the wallpaper that they previous owner had installed.) The next four days he and his crew arrived at 8am and worked until about 4pm and methodically moved throughout our home attempting to have as little impact on our possessions has possible. We removed articles from the walls, they moved furniture as needed in order to reach all areas and covered baseboards and masked here necessary. Overall, the experience was much better than expected and they did a fantastic job!
