Great job by Bill. He communicates well, is punctual, and the work he does himself (for us he replaced our cabinet doors) is done to the highest standard. Great attention to detail all thru the remodel including protecting the wood floors during construction and little details like putting rubber bumpers on the range hood to protect the new cabinet doors. A bonus is the new cabinet doors are made in Wisconsin, so buying local! We are very pleased with the outcome and work done by Kitchen Solvers and would recommend them to anyone who wants to update a kitchen.

We are very very happy with our new kitchen. Bills work transformed our kitchen space. When people come in they think that we made our relatively small kitchen larger (it still has the same footprint). Bill's ideas were so helpful. He was not pushy at all, very honest and up front about everything and delivered as promised. He was on time and on budget. Our kitchen is so much brighter! We went from a 1950s kitchen to a charming, modern space. We would recommend Bill to anyone doing a remodel.

He called and made an appointment for an estimate within days of sending a request. This was the second project I have contracted with him. This time it was a dry bar that he re faced with glass front cabinets. I am changing all the oak cabinets in my condo to maple. His schedule is busy..because he is so talented. His work is perfect. Always adding touches I would of never thought of to finish off the look. I have been very pleased with all his work.

We had a bit of a problem getting our schedules synced together to get the job scheduled but it was well worth the wait.
He had originally come to quote on a kitchen remodel but I decided to go in a different direction. I had him back in September to quote the guest bath cabinet resurfacing. He completed the work last week.
It is just gorgeous. What a difference to go from dark grainy oak with paper sides on the cabinet to a light honey maple.
Looking at the bathroom it would be hard to tell it wasn't just replaced.
I had my neighbor over and she just was amazed that resurfacing can look flawless.
He came on time and completed it just as he said he would.
I will have him back next year to resurface a bar/china that I have in the great room.

We have a large kitchen so this was a big job. Bill showed up on time to give us estimate and his price was lower than other estimates we had received. As he was telling us his credentials he mentioned he was on Angie's List and I told him that was where I got his name. He immediately gave us an extra 5% off because of that. The original bid was just for the cabinets We called and added the counter tops and sink and faucet later. He started that job on time and finished a few weeks later because of the July 4th holiday, our vacation and his vacation. He also coordinated the counter top installer and plumber to be there when needed. In the meantime, my husband and I decided to have the floors replaced too. My husband did not want to have to do anything so Bill also coordinated the plumber to come install the new toilet (which we purchased) as soon as the floor was done. By then Bill had other jobs scheduled so he asked if he could contract the work to someone he knew who was a very good floor guy. He said he works for him and he (Bill) would be the one guaranteeing the work. Otherwise we would have had to wait a month or more to get the floor done. This other floor guy also did the backsplash (which we also had added later). His work was every bit as good as Bill's and we were satisfied with the end result. As soon as the floor was done, Bill had the plumber here working on installing the toilet. Our kitchen looks awesome and we are very happy with it. Bill is very professional, works hard and does a fantastic job. We would definitely use him again.

One of the nicest things about the company is that Bill is the guy who brings the samples, Bill is the guy who sets up the contracts, Bill is the one who does the work...and for the other parts of the job (installation of appliances, countertops, etc) he has his contacts, so you don't have to look for people yourself. The whole thing is pretty stress-free.
Ours is an older house, so naturally there were glitches. Also, the previous owners who did the kitchen originally, did not use the proper materials (nails instead of screws in the door frames of the cabinets, etc.). Bill was able to work around all the problems and come up with creative ways to deal with all the issues he encountered. He worked diligently while here, finished in the estimated time, and even came back to re-do a frame that had split (through no fault of his own). He was always pleasant, co-operative, and willing to listen to our thoughts, ideas, and changes. He returned emails and phone calls in a timely manner. He stated upfront if what we were asking was within his realm of expertise or not, instead of trying to do something he was not equipped to do.
I would not hesitate to recommend Kitchen Solvers to anyone looking for a kitchen remodel.

Their service was very good. I did not go with them because I was undecided about refacing or replacing. In the end, I just replaced most of my kitchen cabinet, but I am going to ask the guy back to reface my bathroom cabinet. The guy was very good, and he came on time. He worked professionally. He was very likeable because he was someone you can really talk to. He explained the details of his job really well. When it comes to his responsiveness, he called me back right away, and he came on time in his duty.

He was very helpful. Although he ultimately could not bid on the position as it was not within his business scope, he was helpful and informative.

Around a month ago Bill (owner of this company) initially visited us to understand scope of project and a certain our needs. (We found his company on Angie's List) Within a week he gave us a quote - final price contingent on grade of resurfacing material and Corian. Since we had our kitchen cabinets resurfaced and a new Corian countertop installed a few years ago, we pretty much knew what we were getting and the labor to install.
After we signed the contract, Bill visited us again with resurfacing samples and did a more detailed set of measurements. Also suggested we visit Ulig Custom Counters (Saukville, WI) to get ideas as to Corian grades, sink size, colors, etc. After our visit we made decisions on both resurface material and countertop/sink. Bill then gave us a final estimate which we approved.
Both Bill and an Ulig employee stopped by again to finalize exact measurements. Within two weeks, both resurfacing and countertop were installed. Took two and 1/2 days - no problems, not much dust, tad noisy at times (but no big deal). Everything cleaned up and all old materials taken away. Bill even gave us $50 credit due to our removing much of the old materials that he'd thought he'd have to do.
A local plumber (Mike the Plumber) that we have used for years will stop by in a day or so and hookup a new faucet and drain.

Couldn't be happier! During our "refacing/flooring" consultation we were given many style choices, door pulls and handles, counter tops (granite, corian, etc.) The pricing varied but very fair. He walked us through the process and NEVER tried to up-sell or lean a certain way. We were planning on an entire kitchen remodel, but he told us that our frames were very sturdy and in good condition, and that a refacing would work just fine. Even though he didn't say it, for us it seemed that there were pricing tiers. Lets say 1 being most expensive, 2 middle, and 3 basic. He had told us that he would never ever recommend a material that he didn't trust. So I believe that his 3 is way better than a lot of box store's material selections. For our faucet and our garbage disposal, we went and chose one that we liked from a bathroom store. We just left it with him and he installed everything for us. We get compliments all the time and we gush about the service and told him that he could use our house as an example for prospective clients. We have had about 3 or 4 different couples come to our house and look at our kitchen so that they could see his work. In all honesty, I felt funny because it probably seemed like we worked for KS since we bragged about the service and the work. I wonder if those couples thought we were on their payroll? His card is on our fridge and we look forward to working with him again when we save up to have him install moulding in the entire house.

The best thing about using Bill Kodzik and Kitchen Solvers was Bill Kodzik. He was very helpful in the planning, prompt, cleaned up daily after his work day. He is genuinely a nice guy and every professional he brought in were easy to work with also. Bill is not a pushy salesman and we would highly recommend him. Before we committed, we talked to several past customers and saw his work which was well done. Bill does the cabinetry so it is certainly custom fit. do not hesitate to call Bill Kodzik at Kitchen Solvers. I feel it is Bill's integrity and work skills that made our new kitchen the success it was.

Bill returned my email within a few hours, arrived at my house on time for the price quote. His quote was less than a third of Sears. The transformation from ugly 1980's kitchen to a modern kitchen is amazing. He did great work in a short amount of time. I would absolutely recommend Kitchen Solvers to anyone looking to update their kitchen on a budget.

It went very well. The installer was very good, the company helped us with getting the right products to clean the floor with, and the carpets are of the best quality. We have not had any problems with them (carpets) since the completion of the installation.

I couldn't have asked for a nicer job. Bill did whatever we asked and he spent many hours working with us allowing us to pick out what we wanted. We told him what we wanted and he gave us suggestions also. He always returned calls and came out to our home at least three times to talk as well as measure once we decided that we would use him for our job. He never allows anyone to be in your home without him being there (he uses a plumber and an electrician for those necessary hookups). I was always comfortable and he always leaves your kitchen in a manner that you can use it in the evening when you are home. e always cleans up after everyday. We had several estimates and one thing that also stood out for me was that he does not smoke so you will not come home to your home smelling like smoke. I highly recommend Bill to do your work on your kitchen.
