The initial installation went fine - but then we noticed that our bathroom vents had Tyvek paper covering the exhaust screens at the roof - so they had to come back to remove that. It was restricting air flow making the bathroom vents not function properly. Another thing they didn't do when they installed the furnace and ductwork was they did not cushion the vents so simply walking upstairs above where the ductwork was located made a screechy metal on metal sound. They had to come back to install rubber cushioning material and that eliminated that issue. Now, the new cooing season is upon us. We called another time because the A-Coil inside the furnace got completely frozen solid in spite of our changing our furnace filter constantly. Then they had to come back again because the blower wasn't functioning properly, they replaced a part. That's working again. So since those last site visits, the plenum has been covered with condensation and we get water all over the floor from the condensation. I have been wiping the unit down almost daily. The housing for the furnace is starting to rust from all the condensation and you can feel the cool air between the housing and the plenum leaking out into the basement. One of their own contractors mentioned that it appear as though the installation crew didn't put a gasket in that area, so that's why he thought we were getting leaking air and condensation. But he couldn't fix it because that's the installation crew's job. So now we're trying to get the installation crew to come out an put that gasket in so that we don't have to have condensation running all over onto the floor and into the joint where the furnace housing meets the ductwork. My husband has called no less than 4 times, asking for someone to call him back to get this gasket installed. There is never anyone at the office number to talk to - just some woman who doesn't know anything. He even asked for the manager's number and left that guy a message and asked him to return his call. NO BODY has returned any of his calls and we are furious! How many times does a consumer have to contact a service provider before they get someone to help them??? I would lay you bets that they keep avoiding us until such time that the equipment's one year warranty expires and they will charge us to fix all the things that they should have done right in the first place. NOTE: the F rating for professionalism is geared towards the management - the young man that came out to work at our home the few times he was out here was very pleasant and respectful. His manager could learn to be as respectful.

It took them about 2 hours. The technician is really knowledgeable. They've been working on the house since it was built. We've been working with Interstate heating cooling for over 20 years. It was good to have that background. He was very knowledgeable about the age of the furnace, and what we need to do and the type of services that will be required in the next couple of years because it's an older furnace.

They did a good job. They came in and they got it done. It was in between thanksgiving and Christmas which was a very busy time. They were very professional. The thing worked from day one without any problems. We continue to use them to check our furnace every year to make sure that it is properly tuned before we get in to the heating season. They are coming out in a coulple of weeks to check my furnace.

We could have gone for competitive quotes. But we had a whole house full of company spending the weekend with us and it was hot and the air conditioner went out. Within a couple of days, they came in and they said, 'If you tell us now, we can get it in before the weekend.' It was a Tuesday. They came in on Friday, they got it all done and everything was up and running. By the time our company showed up, our house was cool. I might have paid a little more than I would have if I had gotten 3 quotes but I didn't have time for that.

I went with the replacement. Shortly after, I noted that the zonal system was still not working. I called and talked to the tech and the owner, telling them that since nothing had been mentioned about the zonal system being a separate repair, I naturally expected this was part of the furnace replacement. They said the fix for the zonal system would be an additional 1,750.

The installers were very professional. They did everything that they said they would do.
They brought humidifiers for my two furnaces in case mine needed to be replaced. They told me that they
work fine so they did not have to replace them (how would I have known?), so I know that they are honest. They showed me how to work my new thermostats
and were extremely helpful.

Did an excellent job. All slabs are level and haven't started to sag. even fill in 2" opening between the side door stoop and house. at no cost to me. While they were working, I asked if they could do a slab that I hadn't contracted for they did it and I paid the going slab level cost

I'd give them an A for service. They do a very good work. I thought they were a little expensive when they changed the motor but everything is working fine so you get what you pay for. They were pretty punctual. They did the job well. They cleaned up after themselves pretty good. They were very professional. If the furnace goes out, I'd call him the first thing.

They were very good, but it was the environmental people that came to get our oil tank and I wasn't really happy with it first. They contract this other company to take the oil tank out and to take the pipes off our basement wall. So, they did all that and they were very nice and after they left they told me they couldn't take the pipes off the wall because they were underground. So then I went outside to look when they had to dig and I had my basement broke down they cut them off but they didn't take them out; and then they just covered it with dirt and they didn't put caps on them. So I contacted Interstate and then they were suppose to comeback and fix that problem. I was really happy with interstate, they don’t have anything to do with their environmental people. Their price is comparable.

We have been using them for years. They have always been responsive to our needs. We have used them throughout the years for our a/c and heating tune-up. Our furnace was making some weird noises; so when we called them, they informed us that we have multiple issues with our old furnace and we needed to have it replaced. They provided a quote the same day and set up the installation within a day. They gave information on possible rebates for efficiency. We even asked for a more expensive furnace that had additional bells and whistles, they kind of gave us a straight deal and told we didn’t need that.

Absolutely wonderful experience. The air conditioning wasn't cooling the house effectively so we wanted to know our options. We ended up replacing both the central air and the furnace due to the age of the existing equipment. I was really surprised at the reasonable cost (this is for a 1,400 sq ft lake cottage) versus trying to repair an older furnace so we replaced everything. Very pleased with the quality of the work done by Interstate. The were referred to us by wife's sister who also used them. They are the best. Quality of work was fantastic. No extra charges, everything done for exactly the quote price. Highly recommend.
