AMERICAN LEAK DETECTION - MILWAUKEE

Without this service there would have been no way we would have found the leak. We have found leaks previously in the lines of our 30+ year old pool return jets, but we never would have found this one without digging up all the area of the return lines to the pump. Mike came into the pool yard and checked all the underground lines(drain line, both return lines and the skimmer line. We were not home, so he left a detailed report and even left his personal cell phone number for questions if we had any.
We chose to perform the repairs ourselves, but ALD has contractors that they use to do repairs too.

I had hired another pool company earlier in the summer, they did not find a liner leak and blamed it on a broken pipe. They said they didn't have the equipment to locate exactly where the pipe was leaking and suggested I call AmericanLeak Detection who would be able to pin-point the leak. I put plugs in the pipes and when the pool continued to leak I did some of my own testing and was very confident the first company was wrong and the liner was leaking not a pipe.
When I called American it was late in the season. They came out within a few days and quickly located and patched the liner leak. They also tested to make sure the pipes were not leaking, they were not.
Mike came across as very knowledgable and professional. I wish I had called him first and not the other company. If I ever have another leak I will use him again.

Good experience. They came to my house and consulted with the basement waterproofing company to determine if there was a leak in the outside line. Installed equipment to monitor the sound of the water on the pipe leading to my house. They did not detect a leak in my water pipe, and checked farther down the line in the neighborhood.
