Nummi Jewelers

When my grandma passed away, she left me a ruby and diamond ring that had two stones missing (she was legally blind - probably didn't even know they were missing). I first took the ring to Zales for an estimate. They shipped the ring away, and ten days later had an estimate - $400. Luckily, I decided to check around some more. A friend recommended I visit Nummi Jewelers. Based on the outside appearance of the store and first impression, I was a bit skeptical. I told the owner I was looking for an estimate to replace the stones; she took the ring, looked at it under a magnifying glass for a few minutes, mulled it over, and said "How does $150 sound?" I said that sounded great, left the ring, and was told it would take 4-5 days. I got a call 2 days later that the ring was ready to go early. They did an excellent job for less than half the price Zales was going to charge! Since this experience I have heard nothing but wonderful things about them from anyone I talk with about them. 
Sometimes in order to patronize a local mom-and-pop store, you end up having to pay higher prices. Not the case with Nummi - they are very reasonable!
