VERY DISAPPOINTED ... We called last week and spoke with the manager for 5-10 minutes about our furnace situation. He kindly listened, was very polite and helpful, and arranged an appointment for today (12-3p). By 3:00, no one had showed, which was unfortunate given that we made special arrangements to be here during this time. When we called to check, we learned that our appointment was not even in their system. I would have expected more of an apology. (He said something resembling an apology at the close of our call, that's all.) I explained our disappointment and said I would be willing to have them come a different time if they could commit to being here on the hour (at 9 am) tomorrow when we could rearrange our schedules to be here. Since this would require some messy scheduling on their part, he was unwilling to make it work. I understand that the scheduling was problematic -- but so was their no-show today, especially after the adjustments we had made to be here all of this time. If only a sincere apology would have been offered and a genuine attempt to reschedule to accommodate OUR time, I would have forgiven their mistake. Now, instead, I've decided to never work with them again. I called General HVAC; they'll be here tomorrow at the specific time I requested. Good customer service, people... it's not that hard.
