HORRENDOUS service. Prairie Land Towing are predatory towers that held my vehicle hostage while demanding an exhorbitant $1800 dollar fee to tow it less than 3 miles. They managed to further damage my car during the towing process. Their practices should be illegal; I've never despised a business more. DO NOT USE.

It was awful. Both of the drivers and the 5 dispatchers were rude and impatient with me.

The driver was very nice and helpful. It only took drve like 10 minutes to get to my location. He was in and out in less than 10
minutes. The problem I have with this company is they didn't tell me any prcing upfront. For 10 minutes worth of work, it cost 125 dollars. If I would’ve known it was this much, I would have called a few friend to help me. With drive time and labor you're looking at 300+ dollars an hour. Come on, this is crazy.
They are just taking advantage of people in need.

He was very friendly, gave me a ride with my car, drove very nice, (I am a bad passenger), discussed my car with me and my grandson (I had a carseat in the back seat of my car), unloaded my car, took my credit card information, wished me well and went on his way. He was very friendly and professional and this was not the only time I have needed to use their services, but it is always the same type of service.

I took my car in and waited till the mechanic could look it over. Once the mechanic looked it over, it takes a least an hour, they came to let me know what they found. I had told them my breaks shimmy on left front side, noise when I turned steering wheel to much.
Here is what they found. Fronk brake rotors warped and rusted. Rear b rakes new but not adjusted properly, rr adjusted installed wrong. Brake fluid contaminated and dark. needs to be flushed. Rear brake proportioning valve seized, LR strut broken and strut leaks, both rear sway bar links broken, RF outer tie rod end slighly loose, exhaust hear shield fell down and rattles, rear subframes mountings are rusted out, not safety problem yet, muffler has a small rust hole, not noisy yet, starting to seep coolant from the front timing cover gaskets.
Here is what they did. clean, lube and adjust rear brake shoes, does not incluse full floating axles, cleaned, lubed, and adjusted rear brakes, also corrected the installation of the RR adjuster. Rear brakes work fine now, Caliper, remover and replace -(includes: bleed system and replace pads if necessary.) Front, Both Replaced front calipers, pads, and rotors, test drove, brakes work normally now
w/ABS add. Rotate tires, while off for inspection . Re-attach exhaust heat shield, Brake fluid flushed, Flushed entire brake system inclusing master cylinder, calipers, ABS, and wheel cylinders until clean.
I had a vehicle to leave and then they called me when my car was ready. I went to pick up my car they went o

We called them on a Sunday. They were extremely helpful on the phone and said they could come then or we could postpone to Monday when they could tow the car to the Toyota service if it turned out that the problem was not the battery. They charge the same on weekends as they do on week days. We decided to wait until Monday. They came exactly when they said they would. The young man was very quick and knew how to get to the battery (which is very convoluted in a Prius, in the trunk, under the covers, where the trunk lid doesn't open when the electricals aren't working). In a couple of minutes, the car started, he politely packed everything back in the trunk and left. The whole thing was very fast and clean. They'll be our go-to guys from now on.

I had a flat near the corner of Midvale and a Mineral Point on a snowy day. The truck showed up within 20 minutes, and the whole job was done in maybe 45 minutes. The tech was very friendly and efficient. I would definitely call them again based on this experience.

My Husband called this towing company to come tow our van after it had a flat because a bolt got stuck in the tire. After my husband tried to change the spare he found out it was also flat. When the tow truck arrived the driver told me he could just fill up the spare with air so that it would save us some money and we could drive it in to get repaired. When the driver came back up to the door he told me he had good news that he was able to repair the tire on the spot so that we didn't have to take it in. Also mentioned that our insurance would reimburse us if we sent the reciept in

My husband, who had overseen the previous debacle, said that it was obvious that Nick knew what he was doing, he clearly understood the logistics of hills, angles, and deep snow. Instead of jumping right in and trying to yank the car out of the snow, he assessed the situation. In fewer than 15 minutes, he had gotten the car out of almost two feet of snow on a downward slope and and onto the driveway. My husband was extremely impressed and pleased. Even though we will be reimbursed for the $110 cost, we feel that the charge was quite reasonable. As we drove past our half-buried car for three days, we knew we would need a pro to get the car out . There was no question of using the original company. We were discouraged by the time spent contacting companies who did not answer their phones, refused to come out at night, or on weekends, or to a rural area. As a result, we are doubly impressed by the professionalism and responsiveness of Prairie Land Towing. While we hope we do not need to call again soon, we will keep their number handy, and we will tell others how happy we are with their service.
