PRAIRIE GLASS

They installed a new glass shower door in our newly remodeled bathroom. Jon came out before the demolition to give us an idea of the options and costs. I appreciated the heads up he gave to install blocking where the doors would go otherwise we would have never opened up the walls before the tiling began. He also gave us good tips on keeping hard water spots off the glass. Everything looks great and the project went smoothly. I would definitely hire them again.

After installation we noticed panes of glass that were dirty on the inside (between two panes), one had a boot print between two panes and others were very poorly constructed. Prairie Glass said they had switched to a different supplier. After contacting their supplier and sending him pictures of the replaced windows he agreed to have the three replaced. I sensed the guys from Prairie Glass weren't too happy when they came and replaced the defective windows. I understand "time is money", but if they had just taken a look at the windows they were about to replace it would've saved everyone a bunch of wasted time. Prairie Glass was to blame for not inspecting the windows that they replaced.....plain and simple. I get the feeling they think we're to blame for the shabby work and their loss of time and money. I suggest anyone having windows replaced by them should mention inspecting the glass before they leave their shop. Haste makes waste.
