We had an absolutely overwhelming positive experience with them. We actually love the results. They recommended an electrician which we followed through with the business. We worked with them and there were no complaints there. We purchased the house and it was 10 years old. the insulation in the attic was less than favorable. With their service, they added anywhere from 2 - 12 inches of insulation. It was in the obvious range where we needed it. Other places quoted for $1500. They provided the service for $900. It was service that was done quickly and cleanly. They did a good job. We will recommend this company to anyone.

The owner and the employee's were eager to work and listened to what I had to say and answer all the questions I had along the way about what they were doing and what was going to happen next.  The owner answered the phone anytime I called and knew who I was when he answered the phone.  They are very detailed individuals and couldn't be happier with how the work progressed and looks.

It started leaking, we called them, they came out the next day and gave us an estimate, then they came out the next week to fix it. They were fast, professional and the roof looks great! I have referred many people to them for their roofing needs and I continue to keep on referring more. You can't go wrong here!

I would definitely recommend JAN Exteriors for your roofing job.  Very honest and prompt service.  Have had bad experiences with contractors in the past but this was smooth with great communication.  

It went very well, looks great and I am very happy with the result.  The head guy for this job was Jesse Meyers and he and his crew (up to 4 guys) showed up promptly every morning between 7:45 and 8:00am so they could take advantage of the sunlight now that the days are getting shorter.  I have an old, two story house and I was told the job would take 4 days.  It ended up taking more like 7 days, but that was partly because it rained one day and then they ran out of Tyvec another day.  Also he was training a couple new people.  (he also had a couple of experienced guys on his crew)  My house was also more challenging to side because of the many windows and corners.  To make up for lost time they also worked on Saturday. 
I REALLY appreciate their attention to detail.  For example, when they pulled the siding off the back of the house, they found that the styrofoam board type insulation only went halfway down.  They could have just sided over it as it was (or pulled off what was there so that they had an even surface) . . .or not even told me . . . but they pointed it out to me and asked if OK to get some additional insulation of the same thickness and add it in - they CARE about the work that they do!  Another example of attention to detail is some extra attention they gave to a window that could potentially leak - they fixed it so that would not happen by caulking.  Yet another example is one gutter I asked them to look into (because it leaks during big storms) . .  they cleaned it out!!  When one of his crew ripped a screen (these things do happen), Jesse mentioned it to me before I even noticed.  I removed the screen and he took it to Ace to be repaired.  Also they removed the top stair on my back steps in order to access siding.  When I did not like how it was put back together (because gap against threshold wider than what it was previously), Jesse and a crew member patiently readjusted it to my liking.  Also when siding was complete, they caulked around all the doors and windows with the same color caulk as siding (Pebblestone Clay by Mastic) which I did not expect - maybe caulking is typical for a siding job, I'm not sure, but I sure appreciate it.  House feels ready for winter!
All in all, they did great work, were very professional and polite, had GREAT attention to detail and did the job RIGHT.  I am happy with the result and would use them again.
