Hybrid Painting

Had scheduled for Thursday 14th. Contractor called and asked if he could start on the 12th instead. Contractor came on Thursday I paid $680 as requested in the contract that was signed. The whole contract was written with a pencil.used zell to pay. Day 2 contractor came in late (family emergency) I realized the color on two walls in the Liv room was not what I wanted (colors I wanted to paint on my walls was the same color I had, just wanted a fresh coat and pet damages on my walls to be fixed) I requested to change the color on the two walls in my living room to be repainted with the color in my stairwell. The two walls in my Liv room was painted on Tuesday with the same color as the walls in the kitchen (one wall with 3 pane window. Second wall is 1/4 height of a full wall spanning stairwell) I offered to pay for the ain t and labor as these two walls needed to be redone (I would have expected the contractor to have identified that the colors do not match. As he was aware I was looking for a fresh coat not a change in color) the contractor said it was fine and didn t need to be paid extra. I got a call when he left to pick up his girlfriend in the afternoon that he would need $350 for redoing the two walls and paint) i immediately transferred $350 using zell. He returned with another person and continued the work. Work continued on Wednesday. Paint was spilled on my Liv room floor and left a stain on my carpet. When he left of Wednesday he said he would come back on Friday to finish up. I was fine with that. No show on Friday, there was no communication. I sent a text and email on Friday and tried calling the number as well (received the following message when I tried calling: the person is not excepting calls at this time, try sending a text). I sent a text and email again on Monday 18th. No response, that s when I called you. I have started finishing up the incomplete work myself. As I would like to get my furniture back in my rooms.
