"Thanks for your feedback. I want to thank you for awarding me the general work as well as many additional jobs during the project. As you may recall, my main concern with your initial disposal choice was the external connections which I need to warranty and not the frequency of use. I mis-spoke about the faucet button and I'm sorry you feel I lied to you. Your demeanor and feedback was all favorable throughout the project so I was alarmed to see this feedback and I'm truly sorry if you were actually not happy with my work. I wish you well."
The previous owners of the house we had just bought had done their own renovations and neglected to call in a plumber, so within the first few weeks of us living here, every sink in the place started to develop little leaks. John spent about two and a half hours fixing EVERYTHING and charged us $90/hour. He gave us a little discount for paying cash, but will also accept a check.
He also fixed quite a few minor issues that we hadn't noticed from the previous owner's plumbing installation. One was the hot and cold water being swapped in the kitchen sink (cold water when the handle was turned right and hot when turned left, instead of the other way around). Another was the arm of shower head being installed the wrong way around, resulting in the shower head hanging a little lower than it should.
We're new home owners and John was extremely helpful, prompt, and friendly. He was great with our dog, too. We'd definitely recommend him and call him again in the future.
future. He does great work, is very thorough, and follows up with
issues or advising the job is completed
I left a message on a Friday, got a call back on Saturday, and was able to choose a time which worked for both of us for the upcoming Tuesday. John arrived, showed me how the first toilet didn't actually require any repair, just a minor tweak. He could easily have replaced an unnecessary part and I wouldn't have known any better, but he showed me the issue and explained the solution. He was very honest.
He fixed the second toilet with ease, and then I sprang the real challenge of the day.. figuring out the source of a small drip noticeable in the basement. He tracked it down to an issue with the shower, showed me the drip, then replaced the part as needed.
And for those of you who appreciate it, John and I were able to go over some details of what was needed via text and picture messaging after our initial call. I love that form of communication when available.
Thanks!

"As a master plumber, I enjoy my 17+ years in the field. My business is almost exclusively based upon referrals from satisfied clients and contractors. I would like to address the issues that [member name removed] has with the work I performed for him as the plumbing contractor for their addition and remodeling project. I continue to subcontract for Zeigler Builders as his sole plumbing contractor. I pride myself on being timely and completing work efficiently. [member name removed] comment regarding my “anxious” work ethic I actually take as a compliment. Clients, as echoed by testimonials on my website, respect the fact that I work very hard and diligently to provide a high quality finished product. Regarding the new guest bathroom: The concrete contractor used the floor drains to empty and clean their cement buckets—doing so caused the drain to clog- [member name removed] dehumidifier went in to the same drain and caused the floor drain to backup. I in fact remedied a problem that was caused by another subcontractor. Regarding the low water pressure: The low volume issue from the shower head was a result of the body sprays and high demand of water which can be an issue when a residence is on a private well. Regarding the water heater: The water heater failed because of its age. The connections rusted to the point where the water heater could not be salvaged. Due to a miscommunication between the general contractor and me, I installed the incorrect water heater. I apologized and was relieved that this error did not result in an injury or property damage. I promptly installed the appropriate water heater at my expense. [member name removed] never contacted me regarding the shower leak issue so I can not respond. While reading this response however, it appears to be a tile issue and not a plumbing issue at all. I trust you will consult my website and other reviews on Angie's List to hear first hand the high quality service I provide. Respectfully, John Moll Master Plumber #231019"
