I was shopping for a used mower to assist with what my rider couldn't reach. I picked out a mower from out back. I asked the salesman if the machine had been checked by a repair guy and he said absolutely. I got the mower home and found that the fuel line was disintegrating and gas was leaking everywhere. I went back to the store and had to purchase a new fuel line and clamps that were picked out by the store's staff. Both parts were wrong for my machine. I called the store and talked with the owner's daughter who talked with Marc, her father, who said to just bring it in and there would be no charge. I then hauled the mower back into the shop and asked them to make it run. Which they did, by replacing the fuel line I just replaced, again from the staff's recommendation of parts. Then they charged me $30 for the new fuel line. I paid the bill because I wasn't going to argue with a high-schooler about a communication issue within the store. I called and left Mark a message to get a hold of me. Again, his daughter returned the call, the same daughter who told me there was going to be no charge on the repair. She told me that even though there was no charge for the repair, there still is a $30 charge just to look at my mower. I spent a fair amount of money at this store over the past year; more than I ought to. The reason I did this was to support our local businesses, even though it costs about twice as much to do so. Let me tell you, if you want to be helped by experienced and knowledgeable staff, for a reasonable price, don't go here. If you want to support a business that doesn't know the difference between a client and a customer, go ahead and waste your money here!
