I was very disappointed in the service. I was not only extremely overcharged, but they techs left my car filthy. When I asked what exactly was wrong with my car and why they were charging the outrageous amount, they couldn't even answer. While I was waiting for my keys, I hear some sales reps talking about how they ripped some customers off saying "I couldn't believe I got him to by that piece of crap." When I arrived at my 'fixed' car, the hood was open and there was trash on the seats. So thank you Scaffidi for nothing.

I asked the VW service manager to explain why my sunroof was leaking on my Routan. He came outside and showed me the drainage holes on the corners . He explained how I need to run vacuum around the edge, clean the seal with alcohol, and use a small amount of water to see which holes are plugged. He said if some are plugged, they have a tool to clean out the drainage tube, which is rubber and have to be careful so it is not torn. He was very helpful and pleasant with my questions squeezed into his day.

Since we had insurance, we only had to pay $100 for the $5000 repair! Although we presently go to a local mechanic in the Stevens Pt. market area (Dave Zaborowski Repair, 2921 N. Lakeview Rd., Rosholt, WI 54473, Ph.715/677-4094), back then we didn't know about him -- we relied on Scaffidi! We would still go there if we didn't have Dave's Repair, 19 mi. closer. As Scaffidi fixed our deer damage, many repairs affected other systems; so they had to keep doing more and more repairs, beyond what they anticipated! Although it was very hard for them, they took the repairs to the limit, making sure my wife was satisfied. What's more, they kept a fairly good attitude throughout the painful process! Somebody lost money on that huge repair, but it wasn't us. (Dates given in this review are just approximate.)

I have gone to Scaffidi for service on my Hyundai Elantra for the past four years. They handled big jobs such as replacing all of the belts and hoses and smaller jobs such as an oil change and tire rotation. Their service department has improved over time as they have learned more about Hyundais. They don't have a large parts inventory, so when something goes wrong, you may need to wait. They don't have loaner vehicles, just a courtesy driver, which can be a problem during longer term service. One time their free car wash broke my radio antenna off, but they happily replaced it.

I was looking for a used VW Beetle with a diesel motor, on
the different auto web sights. Their where only 7 with in a 500 miler radius of
me. I was not rill happy about having to travel so far to buy a car but relied

talked for a few minutes and I told him I was interested in the Beetle. He
called back with an agreeable price and faxed me a credit app. Luckily they had
someone coming to Woodbury to pick up a car so they even gave me a ride to the
dealer. Once at the dealer the transaction took about ten minutes.
Wow talk about hassle free.
Paul and I spent some time going through the manual and he
pointed out different feathers of this model, but we spent more time just
visiting. It was such a relief to just buy a car and not have all the sales
hype and pressure. I will deficiently be calling them 1st before buying my next
used car.

called the shop around 8am and they had it completed and ready to go when I
