I typically drop the vehicle off in the morning and pick it up in the afternoon. If I have an emergency, they will fit me in. I don't have any complaints with their service. They do what is needed to be done, and if they notice anything that needs to be addressed, they let me know.

Routine oil change, went fine. Gave an inspection at the end with results ranging from tabs about to expire to small chip in windshield. I probably won't go back because the other services they quoted me were much higher than other estimates.

They were very nice, helpful and on time plus they were $40 cheaper than the estimate. I didn't need it but they offered a loaner car which is always a big plus.

Provider installed new rotors and wheel cylinders without calling. They called and said that the fuel pump was no good causing the vehicle not to start and it would cost $1200.00 for the fuel pump. I gave them the okay to replace. Got the vehicle back and within 8 hours the vehicle died and needed to be towed again. They called the next day and told me that the fuel pump was no good so I told them fine replace the fuel pump and they proceeded to tell me the price and I told them that they just replace the fuel pump 2 days ago and they told that they did not. So with that I took the truck to another repair shop to have them check out the same items that D&D Automotive was to replace and repair. The tie rod ends were not touched nor were the brake rotors replaced. I do not mind paying for repairs done but I will not pay for repairs not done. The shop is a rip off, They have done the same things to my significant other and told her she needed work done that was not needed.

"this certainly doesn't sound like the type of service we strive to provide for all our customers. the parts we use at our shop carry a lifetime warranty and we certainly would have replaced the defective part at no cost for our customer. as far as the idea that parts were not replaced we always make all the parts that we remove from a customers vehicle available to them for inspection. we even let the take them home if they want to! even 6 years later we would still be able to tell if in fact parts had been replaced on this vehicle so if you would like ron please bring the vehicle in for a no charge brake inspection but i am very confident that all the work was performed that you were billed for. our shop motto is that we provide dedicated and dependable auto service for all our customers."

I was only somewhat pleased. I thought the price was high. The guy at the desk was really cool, but the owner, I don know, I thought he was much too business. He worked with me and all that, it was a big deal, I blew an engine and they worked to help me with it. The overall experience I would have to give closer to a C, not that they weren't knowledgeable but it took a long time, too many irons in the fire I think they had.

He took my concerns at heart and is in the process of trying to find a solution.  It looks like the only thing that could cause this type of issue would be if the car was in a flood previously, but the title I received from CarFax did not include anything along those lines.  It looked like the car was in mint condition.  When I took my car in to D&D and explained the man said it was impossible.  He did take my concerns to his manager and his manager explained that he had a car just like that previously and he found out it was due to flooding.  They will be putting something on my windshield this coming Monday that they hope will help.  Once I find out the quality of the work I will update this report.

I was referred to D&D a few years back when both the dealer and my mechanic at the time both told me that my car could not be repaired. The Honda service department at Courtesy Motors told me the car was a lemon and I should get a new one. My mechanic at Firestone on Church Street charged me $800 and then said it was not repairable and I needed a new car. So I went to D&D in tears. After three days the car was good as new, and Dave helped me recover the $800 from Firestone. The problem: timing belt. The reason that the other two servicemen could not fix it is because the Honda service manager supplied the wrong timing marks to his mechanic and to Firestone. Dave called directly to the manufacturer and got the correct timing marks and fixed the car. In the years since, Dave has provided excellent service at a reasonable cost. I recommend D&D enthusiastically.
