Daniel was the technician and he was superb. With his advice I was able to install a new wifi thermostat while he cleaned the furnace. I have used their services prior to the cleaning in early January. I highly recommend Key to Comfort.com for HVAC services.

Tim was very thorough and explained in detail what was wrong with our system. He even revisited parts he had already looked at just to make sure he was giving us accurate information. Although we ultimately decided to consider our options for a new system before proceeding, Tim's service call was top shelf!

The furnace install seems ok but this company didn't charge the coil because they were told not to. This happened right before I bought my house and, in my opinion, is likely the reason the compressor for my ac unit seized. Very shady not completing the job.

"Thanks for taking the time to review the work we did. We are glad that you like the furnace. Remember that we were not contracted by you. Your home was a vacant foreclosed home. The contractor in charge of the renovations asked to have the a furnace and a/c coil installed that was supplied by that contractor. That contractor absolutely refused to pay anymore than the minimum amount to install the furnace and A/C coil. They would not pay extra to add refrigerant. They were told that the refrigerant charge was not right. We replaced the furnace and installed the coil in the early spring late / winter when the weather was cold. We removed the refrigerant that was in the system and pumped everything back in. It is unclear to us who turned on the disconnect switch on the outdoor unit back to on. We made several attempts to make the situation right by contacting the contractor. I believe that you chose another solution in the end."

I have a gold’s member status with them.  They come anytime.  I had them come over at two in the morning to fix our furnace before.  They are dedicated to their work and service.  The annual cleaning of our furnace and air condition is included in the $40 a year that I pay which is a good deal.  If they need to replace small parts, they will do it with no charge either.

My furnace went out at 9:30 PM. When I called they were at my house within an hour. The door switch on my furnace had gone out, since my furnace is from 1978 but had to order the part. A service man came back a few days later and replace the part. The service was excellent, the employees were all professional, however the cost of the repair seems to be a bit high.

Our experience with the Key to Comfort has been very good. Wayne, the salesman, was punctual, and spent time listening to our needs before submitting not two, but four proposed systems for our house. It was wonderful that he did not talk down to me as a woman.
Installation went well, although the installers left a broom in our basement. We took it back to their office, and met the owner, who is a very nice, down-to-earth lady.
When we needed technical info to complete our utility rebate forms, the folks at the Key to Comfort assisted us, although the Minnesota forms are very different from the Wisconsin forms they are accustomed to.
It is now January, and the Key to Comfort has performed the first furnace maintenance for us. Our new Lennox system is much quieter and more reliable than our old system, and our utility bills are lower than last year.
While we could have bought a cheaper system from another company, we're pleased with the honesty, service and quality we've received so far from the Key to Comfort, and would recommend them to our friends and neighbors.

We pay them a monthly fee witch covers the cost of an air conditioner tune-up and a furnace tune-up annually. They will also respond to any problems anytime, day or night with their Gold Membership program at no cost to us. We've had nothing but great service from them.

They were prompt in responding, and the technician was friendly and did a good job.  I am part of their gold membership program which means I pay a set fee each month, and they will address any problem at no additional cost unless it's a major component.  This has more than paid for itself.
