 + -1 moreTHEY CHANGED THE SOLUTION TO COMPLICATE IT AND GET MORE MONEY. THEY ACTUALLY WOULD HAVE HARMED MY HOUSE. ESTIMATE WAS $6,500, OTHER ESTIMATES TO DO WORK DESCRIBED BY THE STRUCTURAL ENGINEER WERE $1,500 TO $1,700.
Description of Work: THEY GAVE AN ESTIMATE FOR BASEMENT WORK. A STEEL BEAM TO BE PLACED IN CEILING JOISTS OF BASEMENT. THEY TOLD ME THE STRUCTURAL ENGINEER WAS WRONG IN SIZING THE BEAM AND CHANGED IT. THEN PROCEEDED TO GIVE AN ESTIMATE ON WORK THE STRUCTURAL ENGINEER DID NOT THINK NEEDED TO BE DONE.
