I called Pyramax because I had used them before and because their rates are some of the lowest. My loan officer was Duane Kilby and he was excellent - took time to answer my many questions, gave me status updates as things progressed, and thoroughly laid out all my options and helped me weigh the risks and benefits of immediately locking in a rate vs. waiting to see if they went lower. The entire process was handled via phone, email and fax, and then I spent about 20 minutes signing papers at the office location most convenient to me. Duane is VERY RESPONSIVE - always answered emails and phonecalls promptly. If you've ever refinanced, you know that return calls from loan officers are not always easy to come by, because they get so busy when rates are low. Not so here. I highly recommend Duane at Pyramax Bank.
