 + 1 moreThe project turned out great. Chas is a skilled professional and gave us a top notch results. We paid Chas hourly, so each week he submitted his hours and receipts for materials purchased. In one area, Chas wasn't as experienced, so we negotiated a slightly less hourly rate for that work. Even so, he did a great job on that portion of the work, but it did take longer than we anticipated to complete.
Description of Work: Chas remodeled our basement. He removed an existing suspended ceiling and replaced with drywall. Before adding the drywall, he sealed up the joints in the existing drywall and re-routed a dryer vent to remove the need for an additional soffit. Chas added sound insulation between the joists. He also, added a tiled shower, toilet, and vanity to a room that was previously roughed in. He also added tile to an entry area to our walkout basement. Chas did the framing for a gas fireplace unit as well as framing around the exhaust vent in the garage.

 + -1 moreHIS WORK IS BEAUTIFUL, I HAVE NOT FOUND ANYTHING THAT I AM NOT SATISFIED WITH. HE SHOWED UP ON TIME, DID WHAT HE SAID HE WOULD DO AND PICKED EVERYTHING UP FOR US. HE DIDN'T EVEN ASK FOR ANY MONEY UP FRONT! HE WENT OUT OF HIS WAY TO HELP ME PICK UP THINGS THAT I NEEDED. HE HAS BETTER TASTE THAN I DO!
Description of Work: HE GUTTED MY ENTIRE APARTMENT, PUT IN ALL NEW DOORS, FRAMES AND DID THE STAINING AND PAINTING INSIDE. HE PUT IN NEW FIRE ALARMS, TEMPERATURE GAUGE, SINKS, TOILETS, LINOLEUM AND NEW AIR VENTS. ALSO DID ELECTRICAL WORK AND PUT IN FANS.
