I could not have hired a better contractor. Before they started the job, we walked around my house and I pointed out I was getting shrews and snakes in the basement. They reassured me they would seal the house so I would no longer have that problem. I wasn't exactly sure what siding or windows I wanted and Randy made several recommendations with pros and cons for each. I made my decision and we went from there. I chose unpainted LP SmartSide siding (unpainted because it did not come in the color I wanted) and Marvin windows. I did have three windows in my living room and I wanted one big picture window. Randy was agreeable to everything I wanted. (Another contractor balked at the idea of one big picture window - too heavy.) Randy did say they had another project they needed to finish before they started on my house. The original start time was pushed back a week because they ran into some unforeseen problems on the prior job but once started they stayed on the job until completion. After they started I asked them to also install soffit and fascia on the garage as well. The work was accomplished with minimal disruption to my schedule. They "cleaned as they worked," by which I mean one was running the vacuum while another was running the saw to make the window openings bigger for the new windows. I was very pleased with my yard when they finished. I didn't find any trash or debris left behind. This was my first time hiring any kind of contractor and I was very pleased and satisfied with the experience. I would certainly recommend them again if the need arose for myself and I would not hesitate to recommend them to my friends and family.
