Bill was in our kitchen in excess of three hours rather than the 60-90 minutes allowed for the standard install. We were billed a VERY modest added fee of $49. He was friendly and professional in spite of a super challenging and frustrating job. His clean up was spot on. We can recommend Edgewater with the highest possible marks and will use them again.

Edgewater responded quickly, properly diagnosed the problem, and replaced the shower mixer valve which was defective in a professional manner. Everything was explained clearly. The plumber was tidy. The repair prices were reasonable. The plumber also replaced a bathroom sink faucet cartridge which was leaking. Several days afterward it leaked again. The plumber returned, spent some time determining that some small pieces of iron that had sloughed off the water main or lateral had entered the replacement cartridge and made it defective. He flushed our pipes from a basement washtub faucet and showed me how to do this periodically to prevent a re occurrence. Then he installed another new cartridge, all for the price of the cartridge only. Problem solved and how can you beat that kind of service? I hesitate to sing Edgewater's praises as I hope it doesn't cost me access to them in the future.

The plumber was able to use a snake to remove the roots and opened the drain again.

Edgewater was extremely professional and had the pit meter changed in less than two hours. They also tightened a loose sink. Jeremy was extremely helpful and even took care of obtaining the city permit and communicating with the water meter inspector. I would highly recommend Edgewater Plumbing!
