BROOKDALE KENNELS

Excellently. Jim and Judy Powers are consummate dog people. They built and they operate Brookdale Kennels near Howards Grove WI. They have dogs (and a cat) of their own and have bred dogs. They are partial to Retrievers and Labradors because they are very active in all aspects of Field Trialing. They've trained and run National Field Trial Champions! Throughout the year, they serve on boards of local, regional, and national field trial organizations and often set up, manage, or judge at events all over the country. They work closely with Dr. John Travis, owner of the Sheboygan Animal Hospital. With a team like that, we have trusted Brookdale with our dogs for nearly 20 years. To be honest, we never have tried other kennels because we've always felt confident that our "children" are getting the best possible care. Important to us is that we always can call on Jim, Judy, or John for expert advice and valuable help. But don't take our word for it. Know that when we pull into Brookdale's parking lot, our Golden Retriever bolts from the car, goes right to the kennel, greets all the other "guests" and happily takes her place at her home away from home.
