After attempting to replace the pads myself and finding the calipers frozen, we decided to go to a local service shop that we've used in the past. We've been satisfied with the service provided, however the only problem we've had is scheduling an appointment. Often the next available service date was a week or slightly longer than a week which for some repairs I would find unacceptable (I had a vehicle that needed a intermediate shaft replaced once and had to wait a few days, only to find out how close it was from breaking). But once you get in for service they are pretty good at getting the work done and at a reasonable price. The rotors were replaced due to scoring on the inside surface on one of them, and the calipers were unfrozen before putting in new pads. Since the repairs the ride has been much smoother for both my stepkids who have used the vehicle and report how much better it is. As for the employees, they're very friendly (even the dog who loves people) and are good at answering the phone when I did call with questions about the service. Other than the watiing time to get the repairs done, I would recommend them for the work they perform.

They are reasonably priced and do not have to more then is needed. For example I took my truck in and there was a separation between the muffler and exhaust line. A dealership nearby wanted $200 and to replace the whole thing. They cut if off and fixed it for $60.

He is a friend of my husbands. He is good on his word.

We've had ongoing problems with this car. It has been hard to tell when major repairs are needed. Matt was friendly and honest. We will be going back to Sunset Auto again.
