Excellent service, cleaned our chimney and fireplace, would recommend their service to others.

Very good communication, they text when they were on the way and even got here early. Technician was friendly and knowledgeable, and addressed our concern immediately. Although it was a short visit I am extremely satisfied with the result. I have been using chimney mechanix for over six years and will continue my patronage indefinitely.

Moved to Appleton recently and have had a string of repair/cleaning folks that have been a disappointment, but not these guys. Jasper was easy and flexible with my appointment, the inspection went very well with one of the service crew going over general maintenance and upkeep of a fireplace. Highly recommend!!

Chimney mechanix is a life saver. As the temperatures start to drop they came after business hours to get my exhaust pipe fixed for my furnace so me and my little ones did not get cold. They were in and out rather quickly and even checked the furnace just to make sure that it worked. Thank you so much and keep doing an amazing job.

The men did a wonderful job. They were very professional. They put down tarps and were careful not to get anything on the carpet. They explained everything to me in detail and answered all the questions I had. Very patient. I will call them again!

Noticed the leaking on Monday February 25th and left a message at CM. I received a call back the next day and the earliest opening was Friday, March 9th. Since our leak wasn't gushing water I made the appointment for Wednesday, March 13th. Jasper arrived on-time and was very professional. I showed him the fireplace and he diagnosed the problem within a minute. He went on the roof to assess the situation. He took pictures and came back with an estimate of the repair. Basically our chimney cover was rusting through and not originally installed correctly.
He gave us the option of signing then to get the job done or would provide time to think about it. We decided make the update right away, he had his crew custom make the cover, and the following Monday it was installed. He provided pictures of the entire install.
I thought the price was within the reason, especially with stainless steel not being cheap and this being a bigger slab of it.
I would recommend and plan to use again for any chimney related issues.

I suspected that a squirrel had taken up residence in my chimney. Called and make an appointment. I had no trouble getting them to come at my convenience. The young man was professional and friendly. He explained everything well. There was indeed a squirrel in the chimney, and it didn't want to come out. The guy put a rope down, left and came back. The squirrel was still there, so he left the rope there overnight. The squirrel had vacated by the next morning, and the guy capped the chimney. The price was definitely higher than I expected. And he didn't even sweep the entire chimney because he turned the flue knob the wrong direction and it got stuck (it's an old house, so I really didn't hold that against him-but it's still another problem I have to deal with). I have not been having fires in the fireplace recently, and I am planning to convert to a gas log fireplace soon, so it's not a big deal. Otherwise, I might have asked him to try harder to fix it.

Had some some issues with fireplace smoke since bought the place 3 yrs. ago. First had them come to clean chimney and guy said it needed cleaning but wasn't bad. He said we should have an extension put on w/ a new cap. He scheduled to come back on Sept. 9, 2012 to do the extension. When he did not show or call, I called again to see if the parts were in and when he was coming. They did not have us on the schedule so we were put on for November 9th for the work to be completed. I asked for them to come sooner but was told they were full and had to wait. Once the guy came and did the installation we have had no problems. The guy was professional and did a good job. However, the lady scheduling did not seemed concerned that we had already paid for the cleaning and they had not put us on the schedule as agreed and stated on the receipt. When I asked to have it done sooner than November since it was to be done in Sept. she said that wasn't possible. I told her I felt it was poor customer service.

These guys know their stuff, not only were they professional they were very friendly.
We had to do the project in steps due to the seasons. The liners were installed first and when the correct wood burner insert came it went in. There as a mis-shipment by the manufacture, so the insert install was delayed till after the first of the year. The insert install has one minor issue and they are willing to make the fix - just waiting on me to decide on whether to fix or not (it is going to be really messy to fix and it's just a very minor thing).
As soon as the snow melted, they called to schedule the exterior chimney rebuild and new flashing. I can honesty say, we have the best looking chimney in our neighborhood. These guys have talent. They added a little extra design in the new chimney and all my neighbors are jealous. They even had a one piece rain cap made for our dual liners that looks great.
There was a issue with the new crown cracking, but it was fixed immediately - no complaints.
A few delays and very minor issues - but nothing out of the ordinary and Chimney Mechanix is very genuine about making sure we are satisfied and safe.
