Painted all the outside trim, and repaired a gutter. Work was high quality and they were friendly and punctual. Estimate was provided in writing same day as he came out and work was done within a week. Offered a discount with his flyer. Definitely will be using to paint the entire exterior in the Spring

We were building a new house in the SE Wisconsin area. The trim boards were received primed, but it was our responsibility to paint them. This was a time-consuming task so we decided to hire out this service. In addition, the interior stairwell (between 1st and 2nd floor) was difficult for us to finish without the appropriate ladders and scaffolding. We received several recommendations for this provider from friends. We contacted him on short notice and he was able to stop by for a quote. His responsiveness and reasonable price sounded great. The job was performed and the builder put up the trim throughout the house. Once we saw the trim actually on the walls, we realized the painter had neglected to paint the sides of all boards. This created additional work for us and was VERY disappointing as we had paid for trim to be painted and that should obviously have included all sides. Additionally, the interior stairwell had some rounded corners and they only painted these with a roller resulting in a very sloppy edge. We expected these to be painted by hand to get a crisp, clean edge. The quality of the work that was actually done was good, but the job was only partially done! For professional painters, we expected finished professional results. Upon asking why the sides of the trim weren't painted, we were told that he "doesn't know why" and the boards we were looking at were probably the boards "the husband painted" (my husband did paint approximately 30 boards out of 120 and is a skilled craftsman - all 30 were painted on all sides). His answer didn't address how the other 90 boards weren't painted. This provider made no effort to understand the problem (would have liked for him to offer to see the problem I was talking about) and based on the response to the problem with the trim, I didn't even address the problem with the stairwell. I am VERY disappointed that I paid for poor quality work and still have work to do to finish the job.
