I have used Dave many times in the past for both residential and commercial projects. He is always prompt and does a great job!

D.C. Electric is a great, honest company to deal with. They do excellent quality work and the staff is prompt and friendly. I have used them many times for my electric projects and have referred them to my family and friends. You can’t go wrong calling them for your projects, I will be using them again for my future projects.

The speed of the service, the quality of work, and the clean up after, was more than expected. It's difficult to find a tradesman that will do not only what you ask for but more. Great Job!

DC Electric is the best. showed up on time and went over and above to deal with the issue at hand. the issue turned out to be a bit more complicated than expected but was resolved 100%. will continue to use as needed and recommend to all friends and family.

This company does not disclose hidden fees and over charges for their services! Charged me 1.5 hours of work when my home cameras can prove they were there for less than 30 minutes! Did not give me a time, just showed up. They are in the business to cheat you.. stay away! Found out they were the company hired by my contractor a few years ago when we redid our kitchen. They (per the technician) didn't install it correctly from the start, which is why we have the problems.. so not only did they charge me 1.5 hours of work for less than 30 minutes of actual time, but I had to pay to have their mistakes fixed! DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS!

Very well. Very systematic approach to diagnosing mis-wired outlet. Very professional, polite and friendly; explained process as he went along.

The work went fine. External GFCI replaced without issue, internal GFCI just needed a wire tightened up. I will note, DC Electric were the ones who installed the GFCI three years prior, so the lose wire was from their original installation (tech even pointed out it had not been installed properly the first go-around). In all took about 20 minutes. Received my bill a few days later. Charged for two hours of labor. I called to inquire about the two hours of time and was told one hour for labor and one hour for travel. But I'm sorry, being charged two hours for twenty minutes of work, when half of that effort was to fix something they previously installed badly, just isn't right to me.

DC Electric were great. We had Jason do our work. They were quick to respond to my phone call and offered to come the following da Jason got right down to business doing an excellent job and cleaned up after. I would definitely hire them again. Highly recommended.

I was initially concerned because the project involved trenching and installing concrete to support the post, so I didn't know if an electrician would be willing to do it all. Dave Carlson was quick to respond to a request for an estimate and very open to doing everything necessary to complete the job. He also provided a senior discount. Dave and an assistant completed the job in a single morning, did very nice work on the installation, and thoroughly cleaned up after themselves.

Perfect as usual. I contacted Dave at an ungodly hour. He had his employee, Jake, head up to my place within a few hours even though they were extremely busy. Being a Friday, I was concerned as I needed the power restored today. Jake tracked down the issue and repaired it. Dave showed up towards the end and I had them fix an issue in my primary residence since they were already here for the rental. What can I say? Dave and D.C. Electric are my go to guys for electric contracting. I'm a repeat customer and they have always been punctual and professional, even with an emergency. I've had them work on my property when I've been out of state. It speaks volumes when you can pay a contractor for work without being able to inspect it. Dave even diagnosed the unassociated smoke detector alarm issue which made my tenant an myself much more comfortable. 5 stars! Again!

Great price , great service and great attitude . Verrrrry patient answering all of my million questions about everything electrical ???? Real pleasure doing business with people like that .. which is rare when working with contractors. D.C. Electric will be the first and only electrians I will call for my next project???????

They did a wonderful job.

Dave and Jason installed a new 100 amp panel and basically rewired my entire garage. New conduit, new outlets, new light fixtures, etc. They also installed a new main feed line from Comed's connection. They checked everything to make sure previous work done by the prior owner was up to snuff. The work looks very professional. They were on time and they completed the job in one day. I've already called Dave back to schedule additional work.

Two different men from this company worked on lighting in my house on two separate days.  Both came exactly when they were scheduled and called ten minutes before arriving.  They were pleasant, professional, clean and quick.  The first job I called for was small and I was treated very well.  When I told him I had more lighting work to be done he said we would try to squeeze me in ASAP and sure enough they called that evening and scheduled a job for the next day.  GREAT customer service!

Both times I got a quick estimate and both times it came to exactly the estimated amount.
