SASHA'S PAINTING SERVICE

Sasha's quote was far below everyone else. Him and his guys did a great job on my massive, run down, victorian rehab. The only thing that bugged me was he told me he would use nothing but Sherwin Williams, but he moved to the cheap crap at the end. Though, to be fair, he was 2000 less than everyone else and a third of what certapro quoted me at.

He did a great job, I was very happy. Very inexpensive. He was also very personable, I could tell he really knew what he was doing. We liked that he did just the top of the duplex, and he let us do the bottom instead of charging us double to do both.

He watched his workers very carefully and he did everything I asked him to do and more. They completed the job within a week and cleaned up everything well. This work was done several years ago and I am still satisfied with the job. You don't run across workers of this quality very often.

They were fabulous. They were reliable. They cleaned up everything at the end of every day. It ended up being a big project. It was a pretty labor intensive job, but when it was done it looked fabulous.

They did a very nice job. He had two helpers with him and they came a long day. The scraping made the paint nice and even.

The experience was a C. They came out and did the job on time, but the quality of the work was not the best. It is already peeling and it has only been two years.

He was very nice. He was very respectful and the porch looks good. He came back when he said he would, and he seems to have done a more thorough job than other people that have done the porch before.

Sasha hung in there in what turned out to be a marathon of a job. Over the course of more than a year we had problems with the carpenter not showing up (Sasha found us another). We asked him to add painting the interior of a small back entry, which he did. When one of our storm windows disintegrated, Sasha got us a new one, painted and installed it. He also repainted the garage door three times when we disagreed about the color. All in all, he was very intent on doing a good job -- and very happy with the compliments on his work by passers-by.

I was very satisfied with the quality of the work. There were some delays starting the project, but it was worth the wait.

Estimate process went very well and was arranged at my convenience. Contract clear and signed in June. Painting, however, did not start until Aug. or Sept., primarily because other jobs were ahead of us and because of weather. Once the project started, things went fairly well, although the project did take a bit longer than we would have hoped. Again, we believe weather was a primarily factor. Sasha was quite easy to reach when we had questions and he was also concerned about taking care of any concerns. Painting crew was friendly and for the most part they cleaned things up at the end of the day. A few problems that did occur, like a broken window, were rectified. Overall quality of the work was excellent.

This was a mixed experience. Sasha started the job early, a blessing because we were working against the change in seasons. His crew worked hard, and Sasha had high quality standards. A couple of times Sasha expected me to leave work and drive an hour to the job site to answer questions about the job. He's a demanding person, and not very easy to work with. I was very pleased with the work on the trim, but we had problems with the deck and the window caulking. I wanted the wood on the deck prepped properly and a translucent stain applied. He said it wasn't in the contract to power wash the deck (cedar which had weathered grey). He tried to apply the stain without cleaning the wood, which I stopped after 15 minutes because it was clearly not working. It made the grey wood look green. He only caulked the few storm windows and left me with an incomplete job. This may have been an honest misunderstanding, but he did not make it right even though I agreed to pay for the additional work.

Sasha has an interesting style about him. He's good at what he does, but he has a way of making you feel, well, dumb about what you may or may not know about painting. The work was decent although there is some paint remnants around our windows on our screen door. Unfortunately, as nice as the job looked, about a season later the paint is already cracking and flaking off again.

Sasha was wonderful to work with. He was prompt for the estimate and came the next day to complete the work with a worker. I was especially pleased with his suggestion to safe the wood under my kitchen door. It all looks great!

I PAID HIM $4300 ALREADY AND THE JOB IS ONLY HALF DONE. HE HASN'T BEEN BACK IN OVER A YEAR DESPITE REPEATED CALLS. THE CONTRACTOR'S COMMENT TO ANGIE'S LIST THAT I TOLD HIM TO LEAVE MY PROPERTY AND NOT RETURN IS NOT ACCURATE. I WAITED FOR HIM TO RETURN FOR MONTHS AS HE SAID HE WOULD, AND HE REPEATED SEVERAL TIMES THAT I WOULD BE HAPPY WITH THE JOB WHEN HE WAS FINISHED. THERE WERE NEVER ANY DEMANDS FOR EXTRA WORK, NOR WERE THERE ANY HARSH WORDS EVER SPOKEN BETWEEN US. THE PREVIOUS UNRESOLVED COMPLAINT ENDED UP IN SMALL CLAIMS COURT WITH A CIVIL JUDGEMENT ISSUED AGAINST THE CONTRACTOR SASHA DIMITRIJEVIC FOR $2,332.29. REF CASE NUMBER 2006SC041178. THE MONEY HAS NOT YET BEEN PAID.

This was a wonderful experience. Sasha and his crew were always professional, and prompt. They did exactly the work that was quoted, on time, plus a bit more as some issues were found (Some dormer windows were over looked by both of us and added to the job after the fact). Any questions or concerns I had after the job started were addressed immediately and professionally. Sasha really kept the crew moving and honest about the scraping. Clean up was very thorough. The price was very competitive with other quotes. I would definitely recommend them to friends.

They were great! He had 7 painters who had the job done in 4 days. We were very impressed.

I was so impressed by the work Sasha and his crew did on one of my rental properties, I used him for another. Once again he was very prompt, efficient, and conscientious and finished the work in less than one week from signing the proposal. Not only did he paint the house, but he did some handyman type of work in fixing an outside railing going to the basement and repairing a loose metal beam on the back balcony. He scraped off all the rust, and then painted to give the entire house an updated look. He even painted the front door a matching color (not in the original proposal), but did not charge for it. I was very pleased with all Sasha did. He truly is a cut above the rest.

Excellent results. The crew did a lot of work to correct a previous owner's mistake of painting paint over stain, which resulted in blisters all over the exterior of the house. I am very satisfied with the result.

Overall workmanship was good. Took 2x as long as proposed. His unwillingness to deal with my wife was disturbing, he needs to lighten up with women.
