 + -1 moreI was very pleased with the work performed on my 102 year old block construction home. Don Gollwitzer, the President of the company, responded with an estimate within days of my call that covered what I wanted done. It also included some work that I overlooked and agreed with. His estimate came in at the lowest of the four I received. When the job started, the men worked steady on it every day and cleaned up every day as well. The job wasn't finished until I was satisfied with it, so when I saw some places that needed work they came back and finished it to my satisfaction. I would definitely recommend the R.D. Woods company for any masonary work.
Description of Work: Exterior masonary repair was perfomed, which included new tuckpointing by removing all defective mortar joints and replaced with new waterproof mortar, colored to match existing mortar. Concrete block wall supporting front porch was rebuilt with new eight inch block and cracked concrete at foundation of house. Driveway was removed and replaced with a flexable sealant to keep water out.
