My husband and I had bought a foreclosure. During the home inspection the furnace shut off so our inspector could not inspect it or the air conditioner. Wise Heating and Air came out to inspect our units. He was very nice and very thorough in explaining what had happened. Found out the wire running out of the side of the house from the furnace to the air conditioner had been practically chewed through so when the home inspector turned it on to during inspection it automatically shut off blowing a fuse as a safety measure because the two were no longer connected and able to talk to one another. Therefore, he replaced the fuse and repaired this wire for us. As well, he showed me a snake's skin that was wrapped up inside the control panel of the A/C unit and surmised that a snake was most likely trying to get a field mouse that crawled into it. He checked over the furnace and replaced our much needed filter. In addition, he found the wiring on the t-stat didn't match up so he corrected that as well. I was so thankful he was able to do all of this so we did not need to replace our 10 year old Furnace and A/C units prematurely. He was so helpful and courteous and willing to explain what he did and why afterwards. Greatly appreciated it!
