Great! The crew discovered that there were some rocks out of place causing the waterfall to spill out of the expected run. They did a great job of relocating the rocks so the stream runs smoothly.

Dale from Aquatic Rock Formations got back to me right away. Despite it being a busy time of year (end of May/early June), he had Joaquin stop out the next week. Dale said that Joaquin was great at sleuthing out leaks. He came out on a Tuesday morning and found and repaired a couple of leaks in the pond and in the waterfall, where the liner had been pushed down. He fixed those on the spot. He also found the main leak where the liner attaches to the skimmer (the well that holds the pump). The head of more than one of the screws were simply gone. We elected to go with a new skimmer. I also asked Joaquin if he could replace the cobbled piping and check-valve. Joaquin came back on Friday and ended up having to get a larger skimmer so it could work with my pump. This required him to dig out the old skimmer and enlarge the hole for the larger unit. It was a full day's work, but by 5:00 PM everything was finished. The pond and waterfall has been running for days and I haven't seen the water level go down at all. I am very happy with the service we received from Joaquin and Dale at Aquatic Rock Formations.

They were really helpful and their suggestions lead us to replace the pond. Their prices were very reasonable. The outcome was better than we had expected. They followed up this year in regards to turning the pond back on prior to me having to make the call. They are very responsive.

Dale, and his staff at Aquatic Rock Formations, is a true professional at installing, repairing, and updating water features. Dale is a problem solver, who is creative and dedicated to doing the job correctly the first time. His extensive experience led him to discover the specific issue with the auto fill on my waterfall on his first visit just three days after contacting him. He immediately telephoned me about the repair, estimated cost, and scheduled the time just a couple of weeks in the future. When an unrelated, unexpected issue was recognized during the repair, he made time in his schedule to return the following day to finish. Then he returned back within two days of the completion to make sure that it operated as expected. It was comforting to be able to reach him when questions arose. The price was both similar to the estimate and fair. I had worked with two other companies regarding the same problem with the auto fill and both were unable to diagnose nor remediate the issue over a four-month time period. I was so impressed by Dale that a number of weeks later, I contacted him about installing lights on the falls. They look fabulous! I plan on using only him for my future projects and highly recommend him for planning, building, repairing, or updating water features.

Aquatic Rock did excellent work re-engineering and installing new pluming for my water feature and now works great. They know how to do it right the first time.
This water feature was installed by Lan-de con in 2012 at the cost of $2,500.00. The feature never worked and was designed and installed by Lan-De Con. I asked Lan-De Con to repair there work but ignored me for the last three years.

!We had a very difficult to diagnose problem with our waterfall feature in our landscaping. Dale and his staff worked diligently to find three places where our waterfall was losing substantial amounts of water. I felt from the moment I met Dale that he would find a way to solve the problem. They worked clean, efficiently and kept me updated on the project. When they finished, they buttoned up everything even better than it was before and it works perfectly! No more leaks! The price was fair for the work completed.

We installed a new pump basin, pump, flexible PVC plumbing line and did a thorough clean up and inspection of the feature. We were able to get it running and looking good so the new homeowners could enjoy what they already had in place."

Dale and Joaquin did great work, professional, responsive. This was after another provider had made several trips to our house and had been unsuccessful in figuring out a resolution. We wouldn't hesitate to use them again, though we have already moved out of the area.

Dale Bukowski is the nicest guy and took time out of his busy summer schedule and came to our home several times along with one of his employees, Joaquin who tirelessly worked in the oppressive heat and humidity for what seemed like an entire day trying to assess the waterfall's malfunction. Dale and Joaquin took great care in trying different things to see where the problem was. Dale always let me know if and when he or Joaquin would be coming to my home even though they had access to the waterfall and water system without anyone being at home. They were responsive, knowledgable, friendly and very honest about what was going on and what they were doing. I would not hesitate to use Aquatic Rock Formations again and recommend them to anyone that might have a water feature that needs help. Dale is great and Joaquin was also the nicest guy as well. Definitely a quality company!

It went very well. Dale is very professional. I have a small pond in my backyard. It has a very large rock (~500 lbs) in it which has pumps attached to it to send water through the rock and create several little waterfalls. The rock is positioned such that part of it is in the water and part is sitting on the edge of the pond (out of the water). Dale determined that during the initial installation (2001) of the pond (which he did not do), the rubber liner had been cut too short around the edge of the pond, therefore making it easy for water to escape out of the pond into the yard (thus lowering the level of the water). He determined that over the years the water had seeped out at the rock's heaviest point on the edge of the pond. The soil was constantly wet and the rock sank into the wet soil a good six inches. We drained the pond and removed some of the wet soil and left the soil to dry for almost 2 weeks (I covered it to keep the rain from getting it wet). When Dale returned, he raised the rock at the pond's edge and then had to stabilize the rock in it's new position. He was attempting to get the rubber liner in such a position that it would no longer let water out of the pond (difficult since it was so short and he couldn't really move the 500 lb rock - he didn't want to tear the liner & there's no way to get machinery into my backyard). He added some sand to the soil to help keep it drier even if it did get wet and to help position the liner such that it wouldn't let water out. All of this was great. He didn't do the finishing work because we wanted to make sure that it would fill to the appropriate level and not leak out at that low point. Everything worked very well. I did have him come back to deal with some aesthetic issues that happened as a result of the rock sinking over the years and us having messed with the rock's position. He took care of that very quickly. Dale didn't do the finishing work (making it look pretty) because I wanted to do that. Since his second trip here, there has been no leaking water at all and the pond has maintained it's appropriate level. I am very happy and would use Dale again in a heartbeat.

Contacted me via e-mail within a few hours of purchasing. offered available times and scheduled easily within 3 e-mail exchanges. Called to let me know he was running late, but was well within the window of time. Drained water and cleaned out all leaves. re-filled water. I had questions about options for waterfall feature, and also about current fountain. Very helpful and considerate. would definitely use again in future!

The pond was cleaned out, proper plugs were installed and the pump winterized. Clean up was spotless.

Although it was homeowner built, we are always able to asses, find and repair most any problem associated with a leaking or non-working water feature. [member name removed] has been a great client who put her trust in my services and was open to all of my suggestions and repair advice. We were able to replace a non working pump with a new, more efficient model as well as decipher a few leak and trouble spots from improper winterization and installation. They were outstanding. Dale the owner did tremendous work. He is awesome and he is a great person. He does what he says and he does it at a very high level. We have not had them out since that time as we maintain the waterfall ourselves. Dale is a strong christian man and in following that faith he is honest and you have no worries at all. He is very trustworthy, honest, and professional. He is pleasant and we trust him in our home even when we are not there. We have recommended them to friends and neighbors.

"This client was exceptionally easy to deal with in regard to the design/build aspect. [Member names removed] gave me full control of design and allowed me to be creative in constructing a 25' to 30' stream/falls that emptied into an 8' x 12' pond. This pond/falls was constructed with a terrific pond materials system and utilized Grey Dresser Trap Boulders and rock provided by "Boulder Images". [Member names removed] are a great couple and I really enjoyed working on this project! They followed my contract guidelines and paid in full and on time. Awesome Couple!"
