I've been a customer since 2008 because they are a full service and towing company.
I LOVE Eastside Automotive technicians! Where do I start!?
When I call in to service my Volve, I can get in within a day or two for just about anything; 1 hour to all day service.
The estimates are accurate and mechanics are skilled and reliable.
Best of all...I trust them! I can't say that about most local technicians.
I have an older vehicle that is falling apart due to it's mileage and age. After a thorough diagnostics, they provided me with options, one being I may be better off with getting a different car. I considered that. But when I thought about my options and second being Eastside Auto could fix what was wrong, they quoted me and prioritized what had to be done, I was able to pay for the repairs as it was being completed and my car has at least 80-100,000 more miles to go.
Others may be good but outrageously expensive or they're cheap and you get what you pay for. That's been my former experience.
Trust me, they may all be nice but that does not mean they are skilled and trustworthy and reliable.
I drive 30 minutes one way to service my car with East Side Automotive because they are the best in the area.
They are friendly, professional and respectful crew. They are not about making a profit. They truly service their customers and how busy they are year-round speaks volume. I've been living in the area for 10 years and I will continue to be a lifelong customer.

They are the only technicians I will ever go to for everything my car needs.

Received a call after an hour, and the piston was frozen in one of the caliphers.  This didn't surprise me.  It probably would have been possible to grease it up and get it working again, but I agreed with them that the best route was to replace both caliphers.  This increased the estimate from $210 to almost $325, a substantial increase.

I was also asked about an oil leak that was associated with an oil pressure sending unit that has a small diaphragm that was leaking.  I declined the additional $68 for this replacement.

When I got there to pick up the car, was told that they replaced the oil pressure sending unit anyway, because it was cheaper than replacing the engine.  They only charged me the cost of the unit, which was $12.

Overall, I'm very pleased with the service and the professional thoughtfulness of the staff.  I would recommend them  to others.

Diagnosed the problem, which wasn't an oil leak after all.  Repaired hose and asked if I wanted a needed oil change.  Everything was done quickly and efficiently.  They are very nice and I have always been happy with the outcomes.

If I need a ride back to my house, they would do that. They will tell me what other important things would need to be taken care of and what can wait. They had a 10% off coupon that I tried to use the first time I went, but they said oh, we've already given you VIP service for first time customers. I was concerned about that at first that they were trying to get out of the 10% offer, but they said that you can use that another time.

I was up north at the cabin when I started experiencing brake problems.  This was a tight situation as I had to go to work the very next day.  I called East Side and was able to get into the shop that day and be done in an hour.  I brought my car their and was done in an hour.  Only suprise was they told me the calipers were bad also and needed to be replaced which doubled the bill.  I inspected the calipers prior to taking the vehicle to them and they did look in rough shape so that wasn't a problem.  All-in-all without a lot of options they fit the bill nicely and if I was in a jam again I would use them.

Always very professional and timely. Never takes very long for routine visits.

I've gone to East Side Auto numerous times (at least 10) in the past 4 or 5 years since moving to Rhinelander.  They've worked on a few of my vehicles as well as my wife's and have done oil changes, brakes, and front end work for me.  I've always been happy with their service and prices.  I have had to go back a couple times to correct a nagging brake problem, but they were always courteous and charged appropriately if it was something they should've fixed the first time the vehicle was in.  I trust them and will continue to use them in the future.

The problem was quickly diagnosed and the estimate was right on. Service was timely and the people were helpful and friendly.
I've taken my car here several times for various problems and have always been very happy with the service received.

I have travelled extensively throughout the United States for 50 years and have never encountered an auto repair facility that has
any more competency, honesty and integrity than the owner and the staff at Eastside Auto.

I dropped the car off in the morning and picked it up after work. No problems experienced. They were very helpful in recommending other auto service providers as well (windshield and body repair for example.)
